Puente Hills Auto Body

My car is a Fiat 500 Turbo and it got into an accident (myfault). At first I took it to Puente Hills Fiat studio to get it checked out to see how bad the damage was. Visually it needs a new bumper and what not, but internally it needed a passenger side intercooler and hoses and mounts. Since the bumper was damaged, i asked the studio about getting a new bumper and painted and how much. Thinking it would cost less than $ 500 i would have just done it myself. The price of repair w/​new bumper and labor and parts w/​o paint was about $ 900. Its above the deductible so i went through insurance. Since the studio doesn’t do bodywork or paint and such, they referred me to this place, and i decided to just go through insurance.
This was place was a few blocks away but i didnt want to drive it there because the car is broken. Fiat studio called an adjuster to check out the car and pick it up. After the car was admitted to the shop, i was told that it should get done in a week. The day after they took my car in, they started taking things apart and diagnose whats broken and whats not and as soon as things are apart, replacement parts are ordered.
The car was admitted to the shop on Tuesday. Come Thursday i was given a call that the bodywork was ready (bumper painted and ready to install) but other parts arent due to some delivery error and some parts are on back order.
I didnt get my car till two weeks later but there are some parts still on order. However, since i kept bugging them about getting my car soon so i can drive and enjoy it, they decided to install the existing parts that can still make the car drivable and safe so i can enjoy it over the weekend and was told that once other parts are in, they would install it and everything would be good to go.
My car now is complete with everything replaced.

I have some autobody repair and paint experience so i know if the repair was done the right way. The only thing that required body work was the bumper and factory splitter which was replaced.
The paint application on the bumper was flawless but the clear application was sub-​par. there were dry spots near the emblem and on the bottom side corners. It really looked like it was a rush job. They had my car for two weeks, i expected a much better job.
The day where the rest of my parts came in to be installed, i notified the technician about the issues and he made sure it was taken care of. Less than 3 hours later, the parts were installed, the bumper was buffed and good to go. I still saw some imperfections that buffing wont be able to fix but its no biggie. For an untrained eye, its perfect. To my eye, its good enough.
I give this place a 4 star because i really want to give it a 3.5 star for the initial job on the bumper. Parts being on back order are out of their control.

I got into an accident (other parties fault) with someone that was insured through All State, I was referred by the other parties insurance to have my Toyota Prius fixed at Puente Hills body Shop. Since the shop was less than a mile from my work I decided to go there due to convenience. The shop is located at the very rear of puente hills Toyota … It’s easy to miss, walking in I was greeted by the receptionist and waited patiently for an adjuster. The adjuster came out really quick, i showed her my car she took a few pictures and told me to sign the paperwork that the receptionist had ready for me. At that point, i had a feeling that this body shop was sketchy. I didn’t sign any paperwork and told the receptionist that i was going to take my car somewhere else. My mom insisted that i just take my car there so the next day i signed the proper paperwork and dropped my car off, they told me that it was going to be done in 2.5 weeks. 5 days later, they called and told me the car was finished. I was happy at first because i no longer wanted to drive my rental car, and then i questioned why it was done so early… Did they rush the job? I picked up my car and inspected it, everything seemed good. A week later my mom noticed that they didn’t put the emblems on the car. I called them up to let them know and they said they would have to re order the emblems to put them back on. The emblems finally came in and Mike, one of the adjusters put it on for me. I thought he knew what he was doing but he didn’t. He slapped the emblems on without measuring for proper placement. The emblems were so out of placed. I was shocked! I ended up just ordering new emblems off of EBAY and having to replace it myself. If you care about your car, do NOT take your car here after an accidnent.

Bad service was nice at first but bunch of bull shiters. Will never bring my car here again and will tell my friends. I will be going to longo toyota next time.
