OMG! Delivery is too late and the company is so mean.
I bought the furniture online. Waiting almost months, the furniture are not delivered yet. Even no body mentioned or sorry for that. They never sent the tracking number or date even though they have my email address. I almost forgot whether i bought the furniture.
Today i called the 800 number, the machine said please leave a name and phone number and they’ll call back as soon as possible. 6hrs later the staff called me back and still she didn’t know when the furniture will be delivered. And she said to me wait. i waited enough. But should i wait more?
As i ordered the furniture, maybe they started to chop the wood from the forest, sent them to the river to get soaked and dry them into the sunshine today because today was as high as 100degree.

I really really hate the fact that Ethan Allen has such great furniture. I hate it because their corporate operations really suck at efficiency. In general, everything is made to order and it takes over 3 months for you to get your furniture. You’d think that they start growing the trees to make your furniture at the time you place your order.
But their furniture is unparalleled in its style. I would refer to it as conservative contemporary american. The quality of the furniture is superior to other furniture that I have bought elsewhere. It is one of those types that will last a lifetime… no flimsy particle board, or wobbling because it is held together by misaligned cams and bolts. As part of their service, they will send out a salesperson, who is also an design consultant to evaluate your space if you want. We were extremely pleased with what she had recommended and thought it was great. Never mind that it doubled the budget we set. So we did what anyone else would do… get half the furniture. Our goal was to furnish our dining room and living room, so we ended up just doing the dining room.
The delivery and setup of the furniture is horrible. We were given a 6 – 8 week estimate and it actually took 16 weeks. Then when the furniture arrived, there were some pieces of trim missing and some of the cabinets were misaligned. They sent out a repair technician to fix all of that, but that took another 8 weeks, because they had to make the some of the parts (I guess those trees needed some time to grow). These were minor cosmetic things that guests would probably never notice, only the owner would, but they were annoying nevertheless, especially considering the price you are paying for the furniture. Their tech told us that he was swamped, which can only mean that they have very poor quality control at the factory. Seriously. you guys employ several full-​time people to make house calls fixing your furniture? Why don’t you just make it right in the first place! The furniture came with these big tags that say made in the USA and checked by so-​and-​so with their name hand written. This person should get fired in my opinion. All in all the furniture took 24 weeks… that is almost six months!
I want to say that I will never buy furniture from them again, but I am not going to lie. I probably will. I feel like I am in a bad relationship that I just can’t get out of. But when you compare to Ikea or Living Spaces, Ethan Allen furniture looks waaaay better.
I think that the best way to buy furniture from them is to get the floor items when they go on sale. Then you can actually see the quality you are getting while at the same time receiving a 20% — 30% discount. The bigger plus to this is that you don’t have to wait for them to grow the trees…

I found the bedroom headboard I’ve been looking for. My husband and I saw it on sale in January. We ordered it and to this day.16 weeks later they call that it is finally ready for delivery. They are nice people but the customer service is very disappointing to the high brand name. They offer no accommodation for the poor service. We will never ever order from them again. I suggest you don’t either. It’s not worth the expensive price. Time is money!

Their furniture is nice — overpriced — but nice. The salespeople HAVE to work on commission because they are really pushy. My husband and I walked through the store one afternoon — to kill some time and just to browse. A saleswoman came up to us and started her pitch — and insisted that I sit in a specific chair… I said NO and she told me to sit in it again… I still said NO and it went back and forth 15 times till I was about ready to punch her in the face! Finally my husband sat in the chair and immediately got up and said it felt like there were rocks in the cushion — lol.
