The UPS Store

Very unfriendly staff on 1÷30÷16 around 3:00 pm. Rude and unhelpful. I wheeled in two very large boxes that were more than half my size and when I asked where to put them the older lady just pointed to the counter. It was pretty obvious it would be a challenge for me to move them but no help was offered. Luckily two other CUSTOMERS, a kind gentleman and lady, saw the need right away and assisted me. AND Before I brought in the large boxes I put two smaller boxes on the counter and went to get the bigger ones. When I came back, the same older lady was talking to another customer and said «Your receipt is over there somewhere.» So I had to look around to find it. And it wasn’t in an obvious place. It all just felt very unprofessional and rude. This is not how customers who are giving you service should be treated.

Always a convenient and efficient operation. I’ve been here several times in the past year for e.g. notary service and dropping Amazon returns. (you can’t expect to never have to wait if people arrived before you.)

Your staff working the evening of 12÷4÷15 are AWESOME.
I arrived at 6:50 or so and they still let me in and proceeded to provide great service.

any time i need copies, something printed or anything shipped, there’s no place but this ups store i go to!!! there’s so much they do for me… alex the store manager is always so sweet and so help thank you ups, for having such a great place for me to go to… thanks the staff and especially «alex» the store manager!!! 20 stars!

I agree — Staff was rude. Slammed the pen and order form down on the counter repeatedly when I forgot to enter zip codes and other info. Will never go to that location again.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Mailed a gift 5 days before due date, told it would there next day. No show for 14 days!!! Checked w store, clerk (f) stated very rudely that the address was wrong. It had been returned to store, &
reshipped. NO NOTICE TO US OR PERSON RECEIVING GIFT! No apology! Normally, they ASK the correct address prior to making label. Not this time. Did I mention… No APOLOGY??? GRRRR!
On being told it was his fault DH stated, «I am never using this store again». The clerk didn’t even seem to care. Maybe the management will?

Dont waste your time going to this UPS Store. I was there today and I found the staff very rude and combative. I was there to send my daughter who attends college in another state, a care package, which i usually send every 3 – 4 weeks. The woman behind the counter was rude, and argued with me about every little thing, from the size of the box, the form, and then of course the tape for the box. She wasnt friendly, and it seemed like she wanted to pick a fight with me. I send quite a few packages and I usually use the UPS Store near my house in Folsom, who by the way are amazing. So if you happen to be around this UPS Store dont give them your business, Go up the block to the UPS Store at 8863 Greenback Lane, where they treat you with respect and are willing to help you with all your shipping needs. Thats where I went when I told the disrespectful woman that she was being rude and I was taking my business elsewhere. There were 2 other workers behind the counter (man and a woman) and neither helped me even though they saw me having trouble with their co-​worker.

If I could I would give 0 stars but 1 will do. Sent a package 2 day air on Tuesday and got lost until they found in on Friday and wasn’t delivered till the following Tuesday!!! Alex the «manager» is no help at all, all she says is yes I understand yes I understand yes I understand when she really doesn’t. My package was time sensitive and had to be at the location by Friday which it was not. Alex said that I would get a refund once delivered but then when I get the refund it was partial until I called and then still did not get the correct amount. VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE because they say they will call you back and never do, lost a package and said I would get a refund and then have to fight to get it. AWFUL PLACE!!! Should have read the reviews before going there.

UPS online is great. This store is HORRIBLE! Long wait with two people working and only 1 person in line (they’d already been helped). One clerk never turned around to acknowledge me after I entered the store and I stood there for 5 minutes! After completing my transaction and returning to my office, I had to call multiple times (redial) after getting a recording. Once the phone was answered, I was asked to «hold on» and was hung up on by the owner, Kathryn. (I just needed the tracking number which was not printed on the receipt).
I read the Unilocal reviews before using them, but I unfortunately ignored the reviews hoping they were exaggerated. I will definitely use other stores in the future.

Poor customer service. Expect to wait in line and be ignored when you walk in. There were 3 representatives in their store and not one even said «someone will be right with you.» When I asked if they ship perishables, one of the ladies looked right at me and have me an evil eye and looked right back down. The other lady said «yes.» I waked right out after being treated so rudely. I’d rather wait in a huge line at the usps than give my business to a company that treats their potential customers so poorly

I paid to next day air my package at this store. My package not only took 2 days to get to the destination (a day late, which affected a sale), the store manager told me «it sounds like you are trying to get something for free» when I called the store to ask for a refund of the extra 40 $ I spent to get it there over night. (My total was 88 $).
I was appalled at the way this manager spoke to me. I have been trying to get a refund for one and one half months, and no one ever calls me back.
VERY poor customer service, and no follow through on what they say you are paying for.
DO NOT SHIP HERE, I feel like I was lied to and talked into paying extra for something that never happend.

Nice people working behind the counter.
If you sign up for that feature, they email you when a package arrives (might be a short delay, but the last couple of notices have been very prompt).
My only real complaint is that when I call (not often) the phone is not answered. it just rings and rings and eventually goes to voice mail. But latest visits suggest that they might have added staff, which could help with that.
The parking lot is very small and awkward. The adjacent one to the north is no longer available. That is going to be a problem during busy periods.

I’m not sure if there is a way to give zero stars. If there is, and you’re reading this, take away the star. I’ve used this place a few times to ship packages and they haven’t been horrible, but not good enough to pass up another store if its on the way. I went in to get a key made. I have had a hard time finding this particular blank for the key as its just an unusual key I guess. The lady at the counter finally acknowledged me and when I set the key down, all she said was «nope». Not hello, good afternoon, what kind I do for you? Nothing. So I grab the correct blank and put it on the counter and she says, this won’t work for the mailbox you’re using it for. I tell her it’s not for a mailbox, I’d just like a copy thanks. So she replies with, it won’t work. You’ll have to go to a locksmith. I’m not the expert. If you’re not the expert, then how are you going to tell me no without even trying to make it?!? If you don’t like making keys, then don’t offer the service, or lie to me and tell me the machine is broken or something. Feeling curse words starting to come out of my mouth, I grabbed my daughter and left. I worked retail for over 10 years, and I’ve never ever encountered someone as rude as this lady. hopefully as you read this, you’ll decide that your business is better suited elsewhere.

Very disorganized store. I came here today to have a document notarized. There were several customers waiting and only 2 guys behind the counter. No semblance of order, they just asked who was next and whether you were or weren’t didn’t seem to matter. There were a couple who had obviously been waiting awhile, walked out in anger. The counter guys seemed overworked and really tired.
Don’t go here if you don’t have all day. Parking minimal and narrow at best and shared with two other businesses. Potential to have a fender bender is high.

I have been in this store twice. Once for live scan. The process was quick and the worker was efficient. I came in this last time to fax something. While I found $ 3.00 for a fax to be expensive, the worker was polite, quick, and efficient.
