I’ve used Tim on several occasions, for repairs big and small, to both my personal residence and rental properties. He is very reasonable with the rates and scrupulously honest. Unlike so many contractors, he promptly returns phone calls shows up on time, and gets the job done quickly. On occasion, I have had a need for an emergency service and he was unable to respond himself, but put me in touch with one of his subs that he vouched for. I am not the least reluctant to give Tim my highest recommendation.

I would never hire Tim is a liar and a scam artist. I worked on a job within where the agreement was all the labor and proceeds would be split 50 – 50. He would share with me all the billing and receipts upon finishing. When the job was finished and I asked him the total the number didn’t seem right. Upon further investigation and getting a copy of the billing from the homeowner I found that the amount that Tim had told me and the actual amount billed was a difference of $ 1110. Tim avoided any knowledge meant of showing me the receipts or what the final billing was. Then when he finally did send me a final payment check which was $ 400 short of 50 – 50 he stop payment on it. Now I’m having to take him to court file a lien on the homeowners house and an insurance claim on his bond. This may happen to you so think wisely before choosing on the level construction and Tim Mirvine.

I called Tim at On the Level for another repair job that was beyond my capabilities (it involved electricity and a ladder…). He arrived exactly at the scheduled time and did another great job. I had already purchased the flourescent light unit that needed to be installed, which turned out to be an inferior product. Tim managed to make it work just fine, eliminating the need for me to re-​purchase another fixture. He is very efficient and a nice person to boot! I would highly recommend him to anyone!
