Our family has been going to Dr. McDowell for over 15 years and he is a great dentist. We can always count on him to make our experience at the dentist a good one. He is honest and is always looking out for the best solution to what ever problem we may be having. We will always choose Dr. McDowell for our family dentist.

This dentist is now located in Roseville Square. I hate to leave negative reviews, but my experience was less than satisfactory. I was referred to Dr. McDowell by a family member. He ended up doing deep filling that irritated a nerve, so I could not use the left side of my mouth to chew for several months afterwards. I came back a couple times for evaluation and X-​ray where they gave me no real information about the issue or what had happened.
Upon calling their office I was told by the front desk receptionist that I could not speak with the dentist, and that my co-​pay would be refunded in full ($ 184). A few weeks later, I received a check for $ 54 with a sticky note that they changed their mind and will only be partially refunding me. They have not answered any of my calls since, and I still experience tenderness when chewing on the left side of my mouth or brushing my teeth with an electric toothbrush.
My overall experience was unprofessional and felt like willy-​nilly dental care. My family member who referred me has since had some repetitive issues with their work as well. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this dental practice.

Dr. McDowell is a wonderful dentist with a friendly professional staff. They treat you as if you’re family and I am so glad to have been referred to his office by none other than my mother who has been with Dr. McDowell for over 20 years. He assauged all my fears of dentistry as well as those of my children. Thanks for the great work Dr. McDowel, Joanie and Pam and all the rest of the staff at his office.

Dr. McDowell is a wonderful dentist. He truly cares about your smile. The new location at hardy and Douglas is really nice. His office is clean, his staff is ver compassionate.
I highly recommend you check him out.
Four stars only, because he is closed on Fridays.
