We practice a full scope of periodontics with expertise that includes dental implants, cosmetic surgery, tissue grafting and pre-​restorative surgery. Philosophy of Treatment

Our philosophy of practice is to treat as conservatively as possible to attain treatment goals, but offer a full range of periodontal procedures to improve the periodontal health of our patients. We strive to educate the patient concerning their condition, and we present treatment options whenever possible.

Business Owner

Dr. Kenneth Frostad received his dental degree from Case Western Reserve University and was then selected for a general practice residency with the US Air Force at Travis AFB, CA. He then completed a 3-​year Air Force residency in periodontics at the University of Texas and at Wilford Hall, USAF Hospital, San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Frostad began Sierra Periodontal Group in 1983 in Citrus Heights, CA.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Sacramento District Dental Society, as well as the American Academy of Periodontology and the California Society of Periodontology.
