Great Clips

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
I’ve been bringing my daughter here since her very first haircut when she was 3. All the ladies know us by name and know what cut she likes and even know that the clippers give her a rash… Lol
They take their time, they always make sure to ask plenty of questions so they know exactly what she wants this time (it’s ever changing lol)
We never leave disappointed… in fact my girl is now addicted hair cuts! She wants a haircut every 2 weeks. She has her favorite stylists’ and everything. And my daughter is always getting compliments on her hair cut, you would never know it wasn’t done at a high fashion salon.
Bottom line, this Great Clips rocks! If our girls ever leave we will follow them for sure… (But I hope they don’t leave because this place is super convenient)

5 stars because I always get great service. So anything that’s simple, the ladies do a lovely job.
I came in last night 30 or so minutes before it closed.
I forgot the name of the lady who cut my hair): but she did a wonderful job. I love my hair ! Short for graduation this coming week and short because it’s something different! She smirked a smile and said «you have so much hair» meaning it’s thick. Lol. That was so funny how her facial expression was.
You know I been going to this location ever since I was little and I go here to get a snip snip at this age now, haha !
Anyways, I had a positive and always had a positive visit here. I’m happy with what I got !
I mean if you see them about to do something you’re not going to like, say something and be firm about it because if you don’t then that’s your fault. But that’s okay, cause it’s just hair, it’ll grow up anyways, lol. Just waiting for it is annoying.

I came back in recently to see Olivia and they tell me she no longer works there. So I decided to try out another girl for my son. I asked for the manager. I figured the manager should know what to do. But boy was I wrong. First of all she was sitting in the back texting or something because it took the other stylist about 10 minutes to get to come to the front to even take my son back. I should have known from that it was going to bad. I think her name was Lauren or something like that. She seemed okay at first but she kept trying to talk me out the haircut I wanted for my son. She said it wouldn’t look right. He’s be getting the same haircut for two years now and no one has ever said a thing. Then she continues to talk about how she’s been licensed for 10 years and knows what she is doing so I should listen to her. So I just went with it. I wasn’t going to argue with her. So I gave her the chance to see if she really knew what she was talking about or if she was just lazy and didn’t want to try on my sons haircut. So she did the cut and it was awful. It was choppy and it had a huge line on the side. When I asked her to fix it. She looked at me like I was stupid and said what’s there to fix with a MAJOR attitude. After that I just took my son and when else where. She was so rude and conceited I couldn’t believe it. I understand having confidence in yourself but she was cocky and seemed very lazy. So I will never be coming back to this great clips again. That lady tarnished my view on great clips. If I could give negative stars I would.

They always mess up. Lady pressured me into thinning my hair and it felt like I was rubbing a wild gazelle.

If there is one thing I hate it’s a liar.
I called this place and asked to make an appointment. The lady said you can’t make appointments. I said, so you can only make appointments online? She said yes. (Why did I have to bring up the online appointment setting tool?)
I then asked her if there was a wait. She said there is no wait.
I jumped in my car and came right over. I live literally 3mins away.
I walk in 3 minutes after I got off the phone with her and guess what?! There was a 20 minute wait! All the employees had a customer and there was a customer waiting in the waiting room.
Why would she lie? How hard is it to say there is currently about a 20min wait?
I can’t rate the haircuts because I ask for a buzz cut with no clip so I’m sure that’s the easiest haircut in the book. I usually cut my own hair but it’s nice to get it done by someone else every now and then.

Manager is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I had my three kids hair cut at the shop I had found a coupon in the antelope news community news paper it has an option to down load pages so since the coupon does not say cannot be reproduced it should have been taken the managers terrible customer service is the one thing that will keep me from EVER going back!!!

They suck. I think they do an okay job for men’s hair, but what do I know. My husband always complains that it’s uneven, though it looks okay to me. I went there twice for myself. The first time, it was all right. Not the best, but I lived with it. Then I took my daughter for a simple A-​line. GINA did a great job. Totally changed my view of the place. Got me hyped up. I went for the same simple A-​line. Gina wasn’t there and wouldn’t be back for months, so I had random OLIVIA do it. Horrible. It’s uneven. A chunk of longer than the rest. There was nothing A line about it. It looked more like a straight mushroom head. I knew it was going to go bad when she started off by grabbing a chunk of my hair from the back and just cut it straight. Never in my life have I seen this technique. But I didn’t say anything. Gave her a chance hoping maybe it was just we style of cutting. End result: horrendous. Looked like choppy pixie in the back with two long straight ear flaps in the front. :(

Waited a few minutes when we arrived and ALEX hooked my 14 year old son up with a great haircut and style!
Look out 8^th grade girls!

I like that this place has a 15 minute or less wait time. This particular time I had no wait time. Jennifer was very nice but clumsy, which was no big deal to me. She dropped a couple of things and forgot a couple more things in other spots. The hair cut it self was great. The fade was perfect and she was able to tame a couple of cowlicks that I am the not so proud owner of. One thing that does concern me is that this place seems to have a high turn over rate. I don’t think I have seen the same group of stylists for more than 4 or 5 months. I have no problems coming here, though.

Took my 17 yr old son for a Hair cut and believe me that is NOT an easy task to please him. He’s in Rock Bands and his hair is like «samson’s» this cute girl
KRISTIN (think with i or with e sorry) took time to cut his hair perfect and help him with product that would be best for his over-​processed hair.
SO TWO NAMES TO REMEMBER FOR US LADIES JUST FROM MY EXPERIENCE IS JENNIFER, BUT FOR THE TEEN BOYS AND MOST LIKELY GIRLS THIS GIRL KNOWS HER TOOLS: SEE KRISTEN!!! AWESOME GIRLS AND THE VALUE IS AWESOME!~ Please remember if you get the cut that makes you feel wonderful and you can manage it drop them a good tip!

I only get hair cuts from Christie cause she give a good fade. It would be 5 stars if not for all the bad hair cuts I have got here before Christie

I get my haircut about once every 3 weeks or so. I’d say out of the last 10 times I was happy at this salon with 9 of them. That’s pretty darn good for a place that is less than $ 20.00. I have been to other Great Clips locations as well that were terrible. See my other review. The stylists are always very nice and funny at this location as well. I don’t care if I live in Sacramento now, I will always drive to this one instead. Keep up the good work ladies. and I think one or two gentlemen (gay???)

Always been a pleasant experience here. Of course I don’t get my hair cut as often as a should so I don’t think I’ve ever been to the same person, but I’ve never walked away disappointed. The wait time is usually short even when there are people ahead of you. And the restrooms were really cleans.
