Auburn Blvd Mini Storage

Pretty simple.
I walked in to get a storage unit and 15 minutes later, I got the keys. The facility is really clean and well kept. The representatives at the front desk were really nice and very helpful with answering all my questions.
The only thing that i could say that I dislike about renting from them is their prices. I have a 5X10 (I think) and I pay $ 75 per month. It’s quite pricy.
Even though the price is a bit high, I went with them because they were easy to work with, very close to where i live, and I can pay my bill online they also have a 10 day grace period for late payments, which is really nice
I would definitely recommend this storage facility to anyone who was looking.

This is a wonderful self-​storage facility. We rented from them for 4 years and they were consistently excellent. Frank and Jerry were easy going, helpful, friendly and proactive in helping in any way they could — complimentary bottled water on hot days (and Sacramento gets HOT), lock for your unit, courtesy reminder when rent is overdue (yes, I had to be reminded a couple times I was late. I wasn’t quite used to paying a bill in the middle of the month and it slipped my mind in the beginning). They were always extra kind and attentive to us. If it wasn’t so inconvenient to have things stored in two areas far away from each other while we relocate to another city, we, without a doubt, would have kept our unit even longer, but we decided to consolidate closer to where our destination will finally be. Their units are very reasonably priced, too. We were very pleased with this storage facility! If you are reasonable with Frank and Jerry, they will bend over backwards to accommodate you. Thanks for 4 great years, guys!

Todayy friend and I callee last minute needing a uhaul. The man who answered didn’t have one available, but then when he knew we only needed it a few hours, he made it happen. He was so friendly and helpful to us girls who had no idea what we were doing with this huge truck. Didnt treat us like we were stupid. Just a rally sweet man. Highly recommend.

Very clean and well maintained. I did not rent a U-​Haul but I had excellent customer service and no issues so far with billing. The customer service was wonderful, they worked hard to help me get a unit that was just the size I needed. Security seems really good. I’m very happy with all my experiences with them.

My daughter rented a U-​Haul van from Auburn Blvd Mini Stor. When we arrived at their location I overheard the manager tell another person that their U-​haul vans get about 12 miles to the gallon (important information to know for later). On the form that you sign there is a graphic of a gas gauge with the supposed needle showing how full the tank is. It showed «full» and the manager warned us to make sure we filled the tank back up otherwise we would be charged a very large fee per gallon if they had to fill it up. There is also a «per mile» rate which around one dollar per mile.
After we finished moving (from Citrus Heights to Fair Oaks which was approximately 17 miles) my daughter filled up the tank. It took 6 gallons! So, roughly 3 miles per gallon!!! Something was not right. It gets worse though. When we arrived back at the Mini Stor site, the rep totaled up the mileage and said we were being charged for going 85 miles! A quick check of google maps on the iPhone confirmed we only went 17 miles! So went the argument that it was impossible for us to have gone 85 miles. They assured us that was correct. That is when I began reeling off what I was going to do if they really wanted to cheat us out of about $ 90 extra — Unilocal,better business bureau, chamber of commerce, picketing in front of their business. «Ah, here’s the problem!», said the manager… The mileage was incorrectly listed on the contract, but was correct in the computer! So, they corrected the mileage, as we had said in the first place. I was so upset about the fact that they added 85 miles driven that I failed to continue arguing the issue of having to add six gallons of gas after going 17 miles on what they said was a full tank of gas. I did mention it when we first arrived though, but they skirted the issue. The good news is that I complained to U-​Haul and the area field manager for U-​haul for the Sacramento area responded back to me and had my daughter’s credit card adjusted adding back 4 gallons of gas at $ 5 per gallon.
The moral of the story — if you rent a U-​haul truck from this location, please don’t trust what they tell you. Please completely read the contract and double check the
mileage in the truck versus what was in the contract. Check the gas gauge and ensure it shows «full» on the contract, and then, right away, go to the nearest gas station and fill up the tank and present it to the Mini Stor later requesting compensation. Tell them up front that you are going to do this as the U-​haul field manager explained to me that the tank may not be completely full but you need to add enough gas to take it back up to where the tank was before you used it… which I’m sure is impossible to do accurately — meaning you’re going to end up paying for more gas than you actually used.

hi this place started out to be a nice storage, the facility was very clean. when my husband and i opened up the storage the older lady she had came on to be very plesant and her husband was really nice as well. well we make our second payment which was about 15 days late due to our pa day change. we had phoned ahead of time to make sure it would be ok the lady said fine that we would have to pay a late fee, which was ok, so this continued for about 23 months every month and payed the late fee storage which her and her husband kept smiling as if it was ok each time. but then one month we came in to pay the bill and she said that they cut the lock off! so we were upset but said ok well how much is a lock and what do we owe you at this time it was 356.00. we payed it. after that the next month we went in to pay our storage and guess what her and her husband had auction all of our stuff off and they cut the lock to get in before so they new how much stuff we had in there over 3500.00 worth of stuff new rims and washer and dryer over 60 books two bbq pits and alot of other things that we miss so much. i don’t know but because we are african americans could of played a really big part of all of this. we didn’t have any signed paper work because who would of thought that i mean every month due to our pay period we were paying over 300.00 each month for 23 months. i wouldn’t recommend this place no one especially if you’re black.
