This beautiful circa 1865 home is being restored to its former glory and is now reborn as a bed & breakfast and Hosting Venue. It is ideal for bridal showers, bachelorette parties, intimate weddings, and receptions. It features four bedrooms upstairs, four entertaining rooms on the first floor, and a large back yard. Tours are free by appointment.

This was my first experience with a B&B, and it was great. It may not have been as polished or finished as others (there were some small renovations going on), but it still felt very comfortable and had great character. The owner, Nicole, was amazing. She was very inviting and made me feel welcome without feeling obligated to interact with her or the other guests. She gave a wonderful tour of the beautiful Civil War Era house, with a complimentary glass of wine, and went out of her was to offer and provide anything. I was in town on business so I wasn’t able to eat breakfast with the rest of the guests, so she made sure to get up early and make me a great hot breakfast to go. The room was charming with vintage furniture and décor, and the bed was very comfortable. I definitely plan on coming back to the Mitchell House B&B.
