History

Established in 1973.

All-​Tronics actually started in 1965 as Lou’s Electronics Service in Delran, New Jersey by my father. He was laid off at that time, as was common with RCA. He had an extensive background in electronics since the Korean War, when he was an electronics instructor at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. He was recalled to RCA about 9 months later but continued working at L.E.S. to supplement his income. Eventually, my family moved to Cinnaminson and he opened his new shop and business under the current name in late 1971. I was curious with all sorts of mechanical and electronic equipment and showed promise in high science classes, especially physics. During my senior year, I helped my physics instructor with tube theory by harvesting the latest knowledge of consumer electronics from my Dad. In late 1973, I started working with my father. In early 1974, he was offered a job back with RCA and decided to take it. From then on, I’ve operated the business at this same location.

Hello, my name is Wayne, sole owner and technician of All-​Tronics Video and Audio. All-​Tronics has operated proudly since 1973 under the same owner! All-​Tronics provided repair work for over 40,000 various pieces of electronic equipment in that time. Since before I was a teenager, I have always been fascinated with how things worked. I would fix almost anything I could get my hands on. After attending Rutgers University in Camden, part time and evenings for engineering, I worked with my father helping with the repairs. Then in late 1973, he decided to return to a job with RCA and I became the owner and sole proprietor. Over the next 39 years, I’ve repaired TV’s with tubes and mechanical tuners, to transistorized-​solid state TVs to the current HDTV technologies. Getting manufacturers training and loving every minute of solving problems. I’ve since added film transfers, HDTV mounting services and whole house audio systems.
