Now operating as a Bed & Breakfast was originally Built as a wedding present by Peleg Holmes (who’s blood line includes Miles Standish) for his daughter Alice when she married Dr. Nelson Barnes. Later owned by A.B.Brown a local politician and Merchant whom often entertain F. D. R. when he was Governor of New York.
