Your First Dance by Bud Walters

Bud is an AMAZING teacher and dancer!!!
He helped me and my husband with our first dance! We didn’t have enough time to practice, but Bud made it work out pretty well for us and we learned so much with the 3 classes that we took. We received so many compliments about our wedding dance! It was perfect, definitely worth the time and every penny. I wished he could’ve come to Brazil to see us!

We had a wonderful experience with Mr. Walters. He was very accommodating to our schedule, as one of us was only available on weekends, and he tailored his lessons to our two different levels of experience so that we both learned new things but were able to dance together. He also paid attention to details and style after we learned the basic steps of a routine, ensuring we put on a confident, solid presentation at our wedding. We received many compliments after our wedding on how confident we seemed with our dance. We hope to take more lessons from Mr. Walters in the future!

Not only were we going over the final touches of our wedding but we also were going through large career transitions the last few weeks leading up to our wedding. We were worried that dance lessons would be another added thing to stress us out, but I had talked about taking dance lessons since I saw Bud at a bridal show so we decided to go through with it and we couldn’t be more pleased.
Bud was very fun and easy to work with. He was entertaining and made the experience very enjoyable. We got so many compliments on our first dance and it’s an experience I will always remember. Not only was the dance beautiful, but Bud helped put one of the more stressful times of our lives thus far into perspective. You can tell he genuinely enjoys doing this.

Mr. Walters is an AMAZING teacher and a dancer. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He can teach any type of dance to any level of students. Ours was a basic swing which we’ve never danced before. His instruction is clear and demonstrations of both parts (leader and follower) are very good and helpful. We are so glad to have gone to him for the lessons. Our first dance couldn’t have been any more perfect! I wished he could’ve come to England to see our dance! Thank you, Mr. Walters!

My fiancé had dance experience but I had none; Bud made that a non-​factor. He approaches learning a wedding dance fun, simple, and easy to understand. My wife and I still enjoy moving the dining room table out of the way so that we can continue to enjoy what we learned with Bud. I can’t recommend him highly enough. He’s the best.

Loved, loved, loved Bud. I live out of town and he made special accommodations to see me on my short trips home. My dad had zero dancing skills when we went to see Bud, and after only 2 classes my dad had the confidence to do a 2.5 minute dance with me. Not only is he good at what he does, but he is the nicest person ever. We could have stayed and talked with him all day!
Even if you only have time for one class, go see Bud! It’ll help more than you know!

Bud Walters is simply amazing! After our first session I was excited for the first time about my fiancé and I dancing our first dance together at our wedding. A good friend recommended Bud and said we can’t go wrong and boy was she right! Bud made the experience fun and we loved it so much that my man actually wants to take more lessons together!
