I have had the best experience at this branch. Amazing customer service and encouragement. Jan will stop to show you a new exercise or variation to challenge you. They all are great about answering questions and really friendly. Clean well-kept equipment.

Outstanding customer service! Every one who works here is available to assist you in any way. While there are no traditional YMCA offerings such as a pool or basketball court at this location, your membership includes all of the local YMCA branches in Greater Cincinnati so in essence it is like having 12 Y’s at your disposal. The Y at Duck Creek makes it easy to get in and get out. If you are looking for fitness classes they are offered everyday but Sunday. All in all you can not beat the new equipment, cleanliness, and amazing atmosphere.

This isn’t the Y you grew up going to, and unfortunately I mean that in a bad way. This is an absolutely no-frills Y. One half of the building is a day care center, the other half is the workout area. It’s divided into two rooms: a giant room with cardio machines and a few weight stations, and a smaller room where classes are held. There are locker rooms that appeared clean. The list of what it doesn’t have is longer: no pool(indoor or outdoor), no basketball, no racquetball, no indoor running track, no sauna, and no hot tub. The weight options offered are spartan at best(only a few weight benches, limited number of weight machines, limited space for lifting), and the main focus seems to be cardio over anything else. For an added price, you can get a full-city Y membership that gives you access to other Y locations that have more to offer… provided you’re willing to make the extra drive to Blue Ash or Norwood. All in all, if you’re looking for a really no-frills gym, the Y might be for you. If you need more fitness-center services, you’re probably out of luck here.
