Concerning WLWT TV station on the evening news on 1÷28÷16.
What a wonderful break to hear Lisa Cooney do the evening news. No mistakes! Please, please, please get rid of Sheree Paolello.
She makes many mistakes every single day. We’re so tired of hearing her say «rather» for a correction. I could go on and on. What an air head.

Oh News 5, why is your website so terrible?
I’m not even complaining about the information, it’s just the layout, which is so damn bad. There’s no main focus: you come in and it’s just a clutter of text and pictures and weather and anything else you want to throw up there. Even your rotating top story box is tiny and more distracting as it changes from story to story than actually eye catching.
That being said, your newscasts are solid. You always get down to business with hard hitting facts and quick stories. I’ve never had a problem with your reporting and in fact when I find the story sent out through Twitter or Facebook, it’s usually a good read.
Your website, though, just keeps me from checking you out constantly. Please do an update — please! I know it’s a pain but it’s worth it and, in the long run, your viewers will thank you.

Jack’s always got an interesting way of reporting and leading into stories, that makes you say, WHAT! …Is anyone else catching this?

when actually stacked up against the competition, WLWT blows everybody else away. granted, Cincinnati as a city prefers a slower, campier newscast but if you’re looking for real news then Channel 5 is your place.
WLWT’s biggest problem is the constant shake-​up of anchors. it’s probable that more people would watch if they had a chance to actually get accustomed to a set of anchors.
all in all, Channel 5 has the most news, the best analysis and is probably the least biased.

Not a bad station. I like their newscasts and weather forecasts. It’s probably a toss up for me between this station and channel 12 WCPO. During my first winter here, I was amazed at the streaming winter weather closings and delays… it takes so long to get through the list!
