History

Established in 2009.

Founded in 2007 in Cincinnati, OH by Stacey Smith, Soapbox Tees is a creative, urban and socially conscious lifestyle clothing company. Stacey’s vision is to design clothing that represents a variety of influences, a reflection of her environment and passions. Our success is a result of our commitment to raising social awareness and fundraising for national and global causes.

Business Owner

I consider myself a self starter, self made. I’m the youngest of 4 children raised on the Northside of Cincinnati. I’ve always have been an artist at heart and I thank my mother for filling my free time with art and creative activities to feed my hungry imagination.

Many people may not know that I taught myself how to silkscreen by watching tutorial videos over and over. I took full advantage of all of the resources around me as well in my community to make this dream happen. When people told me that this t-​shirt industry was hard, I took it on as a challenge. We all pave our own roads and Soapbox Tees is the name of ours.

As you can see Soapbox Tees functions in 2 different yet similar ways. We offer our feature t-​shirt line of all of my personal designs which are inspired by my environment with true stories attached to them. We also offer custom services to the community.
