History

Established in 1976.

Alex and Sue Vasiliou, owners of Sebastian’s Greek Restaurant settled in Cincinnati in the late 1970’s. The owners originally from Northern Greece, came to Ohio suprisingly from Sweden where they worked in the fur business. Upon arriving in Cincinnati, they met other immigrants from Greece that were in the restaurant business. Alex and Sue decided to try to make their life with another craft they knew well, cooking. From that day forward, Alex and Sue were determined to make a better life for themselves and their two children. They started a small corner shop specializing in sandwiches, salads, hard work and family. Sebastian’s has been a part of Price Hill for almost 40 years. With mentors and friends, like Buddy LaRosa, Sebastian’s continues to be a place where families come to be a part of theirs. Sue and Alex are proud to be small business owners in a community where family and tradition continues to be important.

Business Owner

Sebastian’s was started in 1976 by Alex, a Greek immigrant from a small village near Kastoria, Greece. Alex spent time in Sweden and Germany before he decided to come to America. Together with his family, Alex has worked hard to be one of the first people to introduce Greek cuisine into Cincinnati’s culture.
