My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from here. We worked with Pam and she was a delight from the start. I knew right away that I wanted my ring to come from them — she was so knowledgable & taught us so much about the GIA & what everything meant. Eric went back many times to look at stones and Pam worked with his budget to get me the most beautiful stone possible. I love my ring so much! Thanks Pam — you are amazing at what you do!

They were so helpful and resized my fiancé’s extremely old engagement ring for us. It was a great price for the service as well. We did not even purchase the ring from them, and they were still happy to helps. They also took the time to educate us on pearl — as we knew nothing. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I was extremely disappointed in my experience with this business. Based on the reviews, I decided to take my valuable, antique ring in for repair. The original center stone had fallen out and I wanted the stone to be re-​polished and re-​inserted in the ring. The woman at the counter was short and rude and essentially told me that they didn’t know how or have the means to repair the ring. I’m certain, from her lack of knowledge, that she was not a jeweler, but I was never given the option to speak to one. I’m not sure if they have a real jeweler… It seemed to me that as soon as they realized I wasn’t there to buy something, they couldn’t get me out of the store fast enough. Want overpriced jewelry? Go to Scott Reising. Want a real, knowledgeable jeweler? Go elsewhere.
There was no fake stone in the ring. Just because your sales clerk couldn’t identify the center stone does not mean it was fake. Please don’t make up excuses; it’s unprofessional.
Update: Took my ring in to James Free Jewelers. They were super helpful and friendly and are exploring several options for putting the original center stone, which they’re pretty sure is a Sapphire, by the way, back in the ring. Greatful I didn’t leave my ring with people who didn’t know what they were doing at Scott Reising.

I cannot sing Scott Reising’s praises enough! Both my fiancé and I took our rings in to be sized and repaired since they were vintage pieces. I had already had my engagement ring reinforced and sized by another jeweler, who completely botched it and it looked just awful! Scott Reising did fantastic work to fix the botched job and really made it look like new. My fiancé’s ring was worn and completely bent out of shape. It looked like an entirely different ring (for the better!) when Mr. Reising presented the finished product to us. We were thrilled beyond measure. He was friendly, courteous, and honest, as well as the rest of the staff. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Scott Reising Jewelers is very conveniently located on Edwards Rd. in Hyde Park square. I went in to have links removed from my watch, and they were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. They had a very quick turnaround time on fixing the watch, and I was able to pick it up the next day. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I will definitely go back for any further jeweler needs.
