If you suspect hearing loss, you need a comprehensive hearing test from an audiologist. The audiologist will examine your ears, perform the hearing test, and then explain the test results. Audiometric evaluations are available for persons of all ages. We Fit Starkey and Phonak hearing aids. We also repair all makes and models of hearing aids. Minor hearing aid repairs can be performed in our office for a minimum service charge. Loaner hearing aids are available based on hearing loss and availability. Evening and Weekend Appointments Available Upon Request.

History

Established in 2004.

Dr. Laurie DeWine founded The Place for Better Hearing in Green Township after working in the area for 14 years. She has practiced for more than 30 years as an audiologist helping thousands of hearing impaired children and adults hear better. Audiologist Stefanie Godbey joined The Place for Better Hearing in 2006. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with her Master of Arts degree in 1998. Both Laurie and Stefanie are honest and caring; they strive to improve their patients’ communication abilities and their quality of life.

Business Owner

Laurie DeWine is a Doctor of Audiology certified by the American Speech-​Language-​Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in the states of Ohio and Indiana. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati (B.S. 1977), the Ohio State University (M.A.1979), and A.T. Still University of Health Sciences/​Arizona School of Health Sciences (Au.D. 2008).
