Piepmeier The Florist

This is the first time I utilized Piepmeier Florist for a delivery. I sent a vase of iris’ and birds of paradise to my mother for her 50^th birthday. It arrived in a beautiful indigo vase on time to her home. The arrangement was substantial, so overall we were very pleased with the experience.
A few disappointments, though. First, the iris were wilting by the third morning. I am aware iris don’t last long, but that seemed a bit quick for them to die. Second, I was charged extra to have a rose added to the arrangement and there was no rose.
However, I would definitely order from Piepmeier again as my mother is very loyal to this particular florist.

They made it very easy. My first time calling they took my order and said it will be ready when I specified. Went to pick flowers up for anniversary and they were very fast and very friendly. Treated me like a person, not another person walking in and interrupting their day. True customer service

Be very careful here. Our experience was extremely poor. There was a Wire Service order (actually 2 on the same day) that came through to this florist for us. It appears that they used a subcontracted delivery service that was also less than we would expect. We got a phone message that we were not home for a floral delivery but when we called the florist they claimed they had no such delivery for us. We were also very suspicious why a Wire Service would use a Westside florist for an Anderson delivery. The owner, Jessica, explained that she pays her Wire Service for these and other orders in areas of the city she considers «good areas». She said she understood our concerns and gave me the contact information for the subcontracted delivery service. With the unbelievable amount of break ins throughout our area we became very suspicious. We contacted the delivery service and they were less than professional so we contacted the florist again. I should add this was a courtesy call to let the owner know of the subcontractor and our intention to contact the authorities and alert them to what might be possible criminal activity. Things went really south here. The owner, Jessica, claimed that she had found 2 orders for us and that the name had been misspelled, basically blaming the Wire Service. It was a relief to know that it was a legitimate delivery attempt. While she did apologize she became very unpleasant when I voiced my concern explaining that the PROCESS was very poor. She became very defensive of her company which I had not criticized at that point only the process. Her attitude only got worse and I knew this was not someone who took any constructive input well. I would encourage Jessica to listen when anyone has input on a PROCESS as it may help in the future. We have not seen the flowers and may not at this point but if they are a reflection of the customer service I wouldn’t expect much. There are several large florist throughout the city that provide outstanding customer service and a quality product not to mention run their own delivery trucks. I would encourage anyone to contact those companies first. I would also again encourage Jessica to take this as less of a complaint and more of constructive input to help improve her PROCESS and hopefully her customer service skills.

I went in as a walk-​in just to check out pricing and such for flowers for my wedding back in October of last year. That was the last thing on my list of to-​dos because I’m not really into flowers! But I knew it had to be do be done it was better to just get it over with! Dean was awesome and took me right away without an appointment! I told him that I wasn’t really into flowers and he asked me questions about the wedding (colors, theme, etc). I picked out some in a catalog and said just to be creative! He put everything together, gave me a total I almost fell in the floor it was so reasonable! Well, the day of my wedding I got the flowers (they deliver them several hours before the wedding so you’re not freaking out waiting on them!) and they were beyond what I expected! The colors were perfect and my bouquet was GORGEOUS! Everyone commented on how beautiful they were! Come to find out this was the same florist my mom used when she got married in 1976 and I just randomly walked in! I highly, HIGHLY recommend them!

it is with great pleasure that i compose a brief review of piepmeier the florist’s services.
my gent & i wanted to surprise my grandmother for her 75^th birthday /​mother’s day with a large & striking bouquet of flowers. we live in los angeles & my family resides mostly on the westside of cincinnati.
i prefer to call upon local florists when sending flowers rather than relying upon the impersonal /​ubiquitous internet floral services, so i called upon my fonder memories of high school corsages & graduation bouquets & recalled the distinctive name ‘piepmeier’.
i called & spoke to a very lovely, polite & professional woman who was clear & simple in her list of offerings. (if you are reading this, thank you!) i paid over the phone with credit card & was assured that the flowers would be delivered on monday to my grandmother’s condo.
this afternoon i received a happy & tearful call from my grandmother. she told me that the flowers were absolutely gorgeous & that she was completely surprised. what a wonderful thing to hear the joy in her voice from thousands of miles away.
i highly recommend ordering flowers from this certifiably fantastic florist. price & quality /​quantity are commensurate — if not favoring the customer!

I received a beautiful bouquet of carnations a week ago after surgery. This was the first time I had any dealings with Piepmeier but it will definately not be the last. The young man who delivered them brought them into the house for me since I was unable to carry them. Then a young lady called a few days later to see if I was happy with the flowers. Besides this great customer service the flowers looks as fresh today as they did the day they were delivered. I have already put Piepmeier in my contact list and plan to use them from now on.
