I bought a used Honda (08 Civic) off the lot for my son on 1÷23÷16. The used car guy was easy to work with and we negotiated a fair price rather quickly. It wasn’t an expensive car (under $ 10k), but everything went very smoothly and my wife and I were out the door very quickly compared to other car purchases I have made. The reason for my high rating is what came after the purchase.
Kings Honda includes a 3 month/3,000 «Peace of Mind» warranty with their used cars. We noticed a mechanical issue with the car after getting it home. I called and setup an appointment after researching what I thought the issue was with the car. I went in expecting to have to fight them to cover the fix. It turns out that my mindset was unnecessary. I explained what was going on and what I thought it was and wasn’t. They said they would figure it out. It turned out the car needed a repair on each side of car (wheel bearings). That could have cost $ 700+ but it was all covered under their used car warranty AND they gave me loaner car.
They had the car fixed 4 hours later and I returned with the loaner and picked it up. Car is fixed with zero drama. This is the first time I did business with them, but I was impressed enough to want to write a review.
Based on this very positive experience, I am recommending them to the masses.

The service department decided to use my car to train an installer. The trainee screwed up the installation on the airbag replacement (replaced due to recall) rendering my car un-​driveable. When I receive my car back after 1 week of driving their loaner, the airbag failure light comes on. They insist it’s not the airbag, but a bad seatbelt buckle, a part they have to order. Weeks later, I get a call that the part is in. I make an appointment for the replacement that they claim takes at least 2 hours to do. I take the afternoon off from work because they are not conveniently located to me. I show up at the appointment time and they tell me they don’t have the part and that they weren’t even expecting me. So I have to burn vacation time because of their incompetence and I still have a bad seat buckle (or worse, an issue with the airbag/​computer)
Update: I wrote this review while sitting in the waiting room of the service dept. The manager, Ash Mall, made it a point to tell the service associate that he read it and that, as he would have to order the part anyway, I should take my car to be serviced at another dealership– essentially, to take my business elsewhere. I have been coming to this dealership for about 4 years. They lost my business right about the time I am looking to trade in my CRV for a new HRV. Their loss!!!
I took my car in to Superior Honda, made an appt in the morning and took it there on my lunch hour. They happened to have the seat buckle. It was installed in an hour. I have found my new dealership.

I went in very frustrated with my 2015 Mazda that I was driving. I had purchased a Honda once before and absolutely loved it. My Mazda was leased and still had a couple of years left on it. George Tierney helped me get out of my lease and was still able to keep my payments at a great price! He is a salesman who doesn’t act like a salesman. You never feel pressured or uncomfortable about making a decision. It’s like you’re talking to a friend! Now thanks to George, I drive a 2015 Honda Accord Sport and could not be happier!!!

We had purchased a 2015 Odyssey earlier this year and unfortunately it kept having some frame/​structure issues that were from when the van was built. (An almost unheard of problem) After a few attempts to fix the problems we became very concerned for the safety of our family. We were very worried that if we were to be in an accident the van would not preform as it should and result in serious injury (or worse). After expressing our concerns with Jonathan he whole heartedly agreed that safety was of the upmost importance. Johnathan and Dustin worked with us and we are now driving a 2016 Odyssey with the piece of mind that our family is safe. Thank you Johnathan and Dustin for all of your help and understanding!

We bought our 4^th Honda here after the Accord we drove out of the Menlo Park showroom in 1998 bit the dust after 400,000+ miles (and it had cost me substantially less to repair than the new turbo Volvo V70 I bought in 2004). Bob M had sold our daughter her first new car, a civic, last year and we were impressed — 30 minutes in and out. Our experience was seamless (well, except for the push warranty guy at the end, ugh, they need to fix that he ruins the experience). Bob showed me the cobalt blue pearl color I wanted at $ 200 over dealer invoice and 30 minutes later we were done (except for the aggressive warranty hustler we had to hurdle to make our escape with the keys). We’ve had the regular service done here twice in the last year and it was as affordable as our low-​rent corner mechanic and it comes with free roadside assistance each time you do the oil change, nice!

Alright so no car dealership is going to get a 5 star review unless you walk in and buy with cash and then are they really deserving of the 5 star? Anyways I like it here. I saw the 2015 CRV’s with all the bells and whistles in November at the Convention Center and spoke extensively with the salesman. I knew My next car would be a CRV. I wanted to wait until the end of summer to buy but I had a stressful encounter and was fed up and decided to buy my car last week. I called and told them what I wanted to pay, that I didn’t want a trade in deal etc. They took 3k off the sticker price I walked in same day and they had the car ready to test drive. This was about 8pm when they were closing. The saleman was a car salesman what can you say? He tried to get me to trade in my car, then the finance manager tried to get me to buy extra warranties. But when I told him it was illogical for me to pay 80 bucks a month each month starting from purchase date for a warranty when the car was already under a 36k 3 yr warranty meaning those 3 years would be $ 2,880, when I could easily put that money in savings in case something ever happened and have it for repairs. He tried and he tried hard. That was annoying bc it was past 10pm and I just wanted to get my car and go home. Financing terms were great and so was the price. Would recommend.

Imagine yourself, bright and shiny faced, ready to purchase a new car. Well, you’re not a rich man, so a used car. Through a series of unfortunate events, you find yourself at this dealership. Naïve and unaware of the horrors hiding behind the conniving minds of salesmen, you wander in, ready to buy a car. They show you a few flashy items, but nothing catches your eye. Your only goal is a dependable car with low mileage.
Now the reader must imagine themselves as a father to a four year old with a second baby on the way soon. Obviously a car with low mileage is a must, for transporting both children to all of the necessary places that a child must go. You finally settle on a Dodge with only 80k miles. To sweeten the deal, the salesman throws in a set of brand new tires. «What a deal!» you think. WRws in a set of brand new tires. «what a deal!» you think. wrong!
fast forward a few months. you’re on the highway. suddenly, your car decides to not car anymore. you’re stranded. of course you’re perplexed on what could be wrong. surely your car can’t already be going faulty. it’s practically new. wrong. and don’t call me shirley. (sorry, we must hang onto our humor in these grim times.) over the course of the next three weeks your car is in and out of the shop. the necessary repairs include everything from a new transmission to new tires. «wait!» you exclaim. your car was guaranteed new tires. wrong. you call up the dealership, confused. there must just be a mistake. however, when you’re not greeted with sympathy or concern. rather the dealer laughs in your face, «you bought the car as is! mwuahaha.» (evil laughing added for dramatic effect) your kids wonder why they never get to see daddy. your five month old treats you like a stranger and the four year old forgets your name. Without a car, you lose your job. You become homeless. You drift from town to town until you are finally stabbed by another homeless man for your jacket. You die.
The end is an extrapolated anecdote, but the facts remain the same. Do not buy a car from here. You will die.

Thanks Kings Honda for recommending American Auto Glass (AAG)! I broke the tale gate glass on my 2013 Pilot, wasn’t sure who to contact to get it fixed. I called Kings Honda and they recommended AAG. AAG was very prompt to provide a quote and came out to our house to replace the glass the next day. I appreciate the great recommendation.

I’ve purchased or leased 3 Hondas from Kings/​Performance Honda [Purchased an Accord in 2009, Leased a Pilot in 2010, Leased a Civic in 2012, attempted to lease a Pilot in 2013]. After the very poor experience with my third vehicle transaction, and attempting to lease a fourth vehicle with no response from my inquiries, I’ve switched to Joe Morgan Honda which is significantly more responsive, easy to work with, and friendly. As a bonus, I met Joe Morgan, and was left with the impression that he is a genuinely warm and sincere person. Since moving from Montgomery Road to Kings Auto Mall, Kings Honda is a big disappointment in meeting my expectations.

Drove almost two hours from KY for a used car, and got a good deal, which is why I gave them two stars. After more than three weeks, still no paperwork from them to transfer the vehicle into my name, or into KY from OH. After calling, they are supposedly overnighting the Title to me. If I receive it by the end of the week, I will have exactly one business day remaining on my temporary tag to get the vehicle transferred. Huge inconvenience, since my scheduled is packed, school is out, and it is the week of Christmas. MAJOR FAIL!

I went to Kings Honda in Cincinnati over the weekend to look at a car. My husband had previously emailed the seller (I guess it was one of the salespeople since it’s a dealership) and we had an appointment at 2 PM on Saturday to test drive the vehicle that we were interested in. We drove all the way to Cincinnati from where we live, which is around an hour long drive. When we got to the dealership we stood around for a couple of minutes before anyone asked us why we were there. They did not have anyone to greet us for the appointment and they did not seem to know who we were. The receptionist told us to sit and wait in the waiting area for the agent we had talked with to finish with some customers. We are patient people and this is not a problem. The waiting area was grotesque, it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks and that made me rather uncomfortable. We sat and waited for about 30 minutes before my father-​in-​law (who came with us) asked the receptionist if our agent was coming and said that if not then we would leave since we have other things to do. Within a couple of minutes a salesman appeared (not the the agent we emailed) and apologized for the wait. He asked what vehicle we were looking at (he should have already known) and informed us that it was already purchased. We literally sat in a gross waiting area for 30 minutes for no reason after driving to Cincinnati for no reason. Needless to say, we were a bit ticked off. I don’t know why they didn’t call us to say the vehicle had been sold prior to our unnecessary 2 hour round trip drive. I don’t know why they didn’t at least inform us when we first told the receptionist the vehicle we were there to test drive. I don’t know why they make appointments for test drives when they plan on selling the vehicle before that. We had made the appointment only a few days prior to this, so you can see our frustration. My advice, do not go to this dealership. My husband and I believe they trick you into coming to look at a car you really want that they have actually already sold. They’re trying to get you to buy other cars than the ones online. I don’t know what is going on with their lack of communication and poor customer-​service. I honestly pity anyone who goes there to spend thousands of dollars on a car and has our crappy experience. Seriously, if I could give this place zero stars I would.

Hate the salesmen here! I wanted to buy a car, they never called me and they sold the car I wanted for a lower price! Really disappointed. I had Rick and he wasn’t helpful at all :(

Kings is a ripoff. I had them check my daughters Accord there for the brakes, they said it needed 590 dollars of work plus perhaps 1400 dollars for an ABS module. I balked and took it to a BBB shop, there was nothing wrong with the brakes and they charged me nothing. My wifes Odyssey transmission failed for the SECOND TIME and they quoted $ 4800 dollars to fix. An Angies Liist trans shop qouted $ 3000 for the same job. AVOID KINGS HONDA. They are not honest, they want all your money and could care less about being honest.

I purchased a used 2008 BMW 535xi from the Kings Honda dealership on September 28, 2013. Along with the purchase, I received a 3 month /​3000 miles warranty that covers 100% of both parts and labor. Shortly after purchasing, the car began having an engine rattle, so I took it to the BMW dealership (since they are the experts, and where I plan to use for all my maintenance needs), to have the car fully inspected and determine what the rattling was. After the inspection, the BMW dealership told me that the Engine Turbo Chargers are not performing properly, and are actively failing. BMW said that the Turbo Chargers will completely fail soon, and it is imperative that the Turbo Chargers be replaced. I took my car back to Kings Honda since the warranty is with them. After inspecting, Kings Honda agreed that they «found noise coming from turbo charger», but refused to fix the broken Turbo Chargers because «turbo charger is currently working». That is not how warranties work. The Engine/​Turbo Chargers are not performing as they are expected, and will completely fail. My warranty fully states the the Engine is fully covered at 100% («Engine: Cylinder block and all internal parts, head assemblies, head gaskets, timing case, chain, gears, belts and sprockets, harmonic balancer, oil pump, water pump, turbocharger housing and all internal parts, turbocharger actuator»). So clearly, Kings Honda is not honoring the warranty I have with them. The service rep told me to that I needed to speak to a Sales manager (Andy) to dispute this. I have called several times, leaving voicemails, but he has never returned my calls. I also contacted an attorney (no legal file claimed, yet). The attorney said that the Dealership is acting illegally by not honoring their service warranty agreement. I am giving Kings Honda one last chance to honor the warranty before I pursue legal action. I expect King Honda to honor their commitment to the Service Warranty that I have with my auto purchase from their dealership. Kings Honda needs to cover the warranty and have the Turbo Chargers in my car replaced, and promptly. Or, they can purchase the car back from me, at the amount that I paid plus money that I already put in the car. Otherwise, legal action will be pursued.

I’ve been dreading buying a new car, because of how long it takes and the exhausting process of negotiating, etc.
On the other hand, I was driving around a 22 year old car, so it was only a matter of time…
So when my car bit the dust on Monday, I was super stressed out and couldn’t figure out how I was going to research prices, test drive, and work, let alone how I was going to get around while doing that!
I requested a few quotes online and Kings came in the lowest, and it was the closest to my work, so I went over there on a long lunch break to do a test drive. I met with Bob, who had sent me the quote online, and we went on a test drive, and he told me that they actually had the car I wanted on the lot, so if I wanted we could get everything tied up that day.
But, I had to go back to work. When we got back to the showroom, Bob, and Nate, the Internet sales manager, told me that I could fill out the application and get approved while I was at work and come back after work to finalize! That was the best news ever. I only spent a total of maybe 2 hours at the dealership, one hour during the initial meeting and test drive, and another that evening to sign the papers and drive away in my new Civic!
Bob is so great at what he does. He has been in the business for almost 30 years, is a great listener and is able to anticipate your needs in the car buying process. I was also really impressed with the deal I got without any negotiations! Bob and Kings Honda have changed my perception of the hassle of buying a car. I recommend them to everyone.

The car we got there is awesome. The service department was good. The sales department was shady. We had to ask several times to see the final price sheet after negotiations, they were hesitant to explain how they got to the bottom line we agreed upon. We made an appointment with the sales department to have a dura-​steel coating put on the car. They said if we called a day before the appointment we’d be able to get a loaner. We called the day before and the sales department said we wouldn’t need a loaner because the procedure is only 45 mins. When we arrived for the procedure the service department had no record of our appointment. Also the service department said this procedure takes 2 hours minimum. It appeared that the service department was upset with sales department for giving the bad 45 min estimate regularly.

I own a 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid and normally only get serviced at Honda Dealerships.
Bad experience with Service Dept:
During 60 000 mile maintenance they forgot to do a CVT transmission fluid flush. Transmission started juggering loudly.
Checked the transmission fluid and there was only 1 quart instead of 3. I took the car in to Jeff Wyler in Colerain and they did a full transmission that fixed the issue.
From now on only going to Jeff Wyler; never going to Kings again even though I work right by it.

This is the new location of what used to be the Honda dealership in Montgomery.
I took my Honda here for a regular oil change at 7:30 on a weekday. I immediately noticed that the service entrance is much larger (3 bays, about 3 – 4 cars deep), but there was still a huge line from people dropping off their vehicles (Attack of the Odysseys!) for service for the day. I had a wait a little bit before I was greeted by a service representative. It wasn’t that long of a wait, just something I hadn’t run into at a Honda dealer yet.
Once I took a seat in the waiting area (coffee, water, soda) and picked out a few magazines (Us Weekly, need I say more?) it wasn’t that long before my vehicle was ready. Maybe about 20 – 30 mins.
Here is the best part… the oil change was $ 21.69! Really? That seemed way less than it used to be. Plus, I really like their «Status Reports» that use a color-​coded system to show my vehicle’s condition/​need for replacements.
Check out was easy and fast. The only thing that seemed off was that I wasn’t offered a complimentary car wash like at the older location. I could’ve asked, but I was in a hurry. Maybe next time I will remember to get that.
