I should have checked the reviews. I almost thought it was an elaborate prank how bad the service was. There’s a sign that says oil change plus some stuff is 99.99. So I asked for that. The rep goes ok that’ll be 170 dollars. I didn’t understand how this was possible and asked for the deal that was listed on the counter in front of me. After more «haggling» we got it down to 110 or something and at this point my spirit was broken. So like 5 hours later the car was done. I’ll never step foot in that circle of hell again.

Stopped by for new windshield wipers. Greeted right away by the Ken. Told him what I needed, he look it up on the computer, we discuss options, he confirmed size by looking at my car and after I purchased installed them for me. Simple stop. awesome service.

I dropped off the car at 10:15 and waited all day at the mall just to find out it wouldn’t be done until tomorrow. Seriously, you could have at least called me so I would not have wasted the entire day up at this end of town waiting for nothing. Well done Pep Boys.

I’m not very impressed with the customer service I received. I ordered a set of 4 tires online (same ones that were on my vehicle). Their website said the tires were in stock at the kenwood location, so I ordered and set an appointment for that evening for the install. I arrived on time and waited for 2 hours. The service manager approached me and indicated there must have been an error in their website. The tires I ordered are not in stock and he’s not sure when they will be because they are discontinued. The manufactures has updated the tire and the new version is more expensive. The only option he gave me is to pay the difference for the more expensive ones, or wait to see when they get more in. I really think the price should have been honored for the ones I ordered. I’m now paying $ 70+ additional dollars for Pep Boys mistake and had to wait around while they quote «scrambled» to find the ones I ordered; to no avail.
I waited a total of 4 hours to get tires installed. They asked me to come back another day to have the alignment done another day because they are running out of time.

Customer service here is shoddy. No greetings when you come in the door, not really very helpful staff. The past few times the only staff I’ve seen in the store were the ones at the cash registers. The last time I went in the cashier didn’t even ask me if I found everything. The only thing she said was my total. I’ll be looking for a less convenient, friendlier, knowledgable, and helpful place for my next automotive parts/​accessories purchase.

End cap says mix and match 3 for $ 10. Great deal! Only they don’t honor it once you get to the register?!? Cashier could have cared less. Why do I keep going back to this place? Final nail in the coffin.

Horrible horrible service! Not only did they tell me my vehicle was ready after having it for two days, I show up and it wasn’t! I have been here two other times for oil changes (only because I bought my tires here) they left the inside all oily and dirty! The manager came outside and cleaned it for me! Back to Michel tires for me where the service was always fantastic!

Jerry in customer service was so incredibly helpful and went out of his way for me. He took his time to show me some things on my car– which actually ended up being that I didn’t need what I thought I needed. He was super honest and didn’t try to sell me something that was completely unnecessary. I walked away not owing a dime. I would both recommend and go to them in the future.

knowledgeable employees. Sean at service desk was very helpful and made sure i understood the problems with my vehicle and it was fixed same day that i brought the car in.

Very POOR customer service, Over promised/​under delivered on estimate of time it would take to diagnose car problem. Then attempted to rip me off for $ 450. Informed me that the part needing replaced was very hard to find, they would have to «adapt» another part to make it work and it was very time consuming… I took my car to Midas across the street and the informed me the parts I had been told by pep boys was in great condition, and the fact that they said they couldn’t find the part was ridiculous… 2001 ford Taurus happened to be the most popular car made that year. They located the actual problem and had me back on the road in less than a hour for $ 90. Pep Boys is notorious for over charging and scamming customers! Take your car elsewhere!
