Over the Line specializes in art and entertainment ranging from event services, such as caricatures, airbrush t-​shirts, face painting and temporary tattoos, to design and illustration.

We’ve drawn at city festivals, holiday parties, trade shows, company picnics, after-​proms, wedding receptions… you name it, we’ve probably drawn at that type of event or something similar. For birthdays, retirement parties, graduations, holidays or any other occasion, our custom caricatures make great personalized gifts.

For event services, we serve Ohio and the surrounding areas, including Cincinnati/​Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland, Akron/​Canton, Youngstown, Lexington, Louisville, Indianapolis, Toledo, Detroit and Pittsburgh.

History

Established in 2004.

Over the Line was founded by friends/​Kings Island caricature artists as a design and illustration collective offering special event services in the Cincinnati/​Dayton area. Based in Cincinnati, we’ve since expanded our territory to include Ohio and the surrounding area for event services, and to include the planet Earth and some parts of the moon for design and illustration contract work, thanks to the vast reach of the interwebs.

Meet the Business Owner

Eric S.

Business Owner

Eric grew up in Detroit before moving to Tampa, where he started working as a caricature artist at Busch Gardens. Eric moved to Ohio in 2000 to manage caricature operations and others at Six Flags Worlds of Adventure and Kings Island. Since the inception of Over the Line in 2004, Eric has worked with clients such as Procter & Gamble, Formica Corporation, General Electric, Duke Energy Center and the University of Cincinnati.

Active in his community of Pleasant Ridge in Cincinnati, Eric served as the committee head for Ridge Day in 2011 and 2012. Eric splits his NFL devotion between the Bengals, the Lions and the Buccaneers, and even briefly played semi-​pro as an offensive lineman for the Tri-​State Sharks.
