New Thought Unity Center

I have been in and out of New Thought Unity for over 15 years and I am glad that I came back. I have been attending on a regular basis now for over 3 years I am so grateful for all of the members that I continue to get to know. There are great book studies to delve deeper into topics of interest or to push my growth. Rev. Michael Brooks is certainly a welcomed leader. I look forward to his insights into how to change my perspective so that I can be my best.

There are not a lot of spiritual institutions for liberals like me to go to in this town. New Thought Unity Center happens to be one place that fits the bill. If you read The Secret and liked it, this is your place. It’s all inclusive and non-​judgmental like a Unitarian church, but also a little New Age. Their motto is «Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here.» The service involves meditation, a talk and a lot of good music — not church music, but they sing songs you might hear on the radio. The place definitely needs more young people though. They seem to be in a transition place with their minister. You should check it out if you’re looking for the church Oprah would go to if she lived in Cincinnati.
