A family owned business, a great change from the chains! I’d rather give my money to the little guy. Brittney’s a fantastic bartender and deserves her praise. Excellent food, laid back atmosphere.

Murray’s is a pretty decent place. I was introduced to it by a friend who told me we were going to have wings and drinks somewhere off of Queen City Ave. I’ll admit, pulling up to Murray’s I was a little bit worried. The surrounding area is a tad bit sketchy so I was a little bit apprehensive but judging by the amount of cars in the parking lot, I figured it would be okay to give it a try. When you walk inside, Murray’s has a set up similar to Buffalo Wild Wings where you order on one side then go find a table in the bar area and they bring the food to you. I’ll admit, I had a nice time @ Murray’s mainly because of the atmosphere and good company(my friends). They have music, drinks, TVs, an area for sand volleyball and an outside section with table and chairs. The food was really nothing to write home about. My fries were salty and my wings were average. I also must mention that the service was really lacking. Overall, it wasn’t too bad. If given the chance, I would probably check out Murray’s again.

I was introduced to this place over the weekend and was shockingly impressed. A couple friends and I made our way here to watch some football over wings and drinks. Everyone in the place appeared to be regulars. A few large TVs over the bar and small TVs in each of the booth seating. When you enter you’ll order your food at the front counter/takeout side, then make your way to the bar side until the food is brought out to you. The wings weren’t dry and had plenty of sauce on them. On Mondays wings are fifty cent. Drink specials available. Outdoor seating available if the weather permits. TouchTunes jukebox!

Murray’s is a hit or miss kind of place. If you go in the summer when you can sit outside, or in the afternoon when it’s more of a quiet lunch spot, it’s much better. In the evenings, especially on the weekend, it tends to be loud and more of a bar than a wings spot. This is definitely a place for regulars. If the staff doesn’t know you, you tend to get less(or no) service unless you shove your way into their conversations to get some attention. The prices are decent and the food isn’t bad, but it’s nothing to go out of the way to try. Typical bar food, nothing special on the menu. I have to admit I’ve never tried their wings, but the other menu options are average. If you’re on the west side and looking for a place to grab a beer and meet some locals, this might fit the bill. Otherwise, I’d suggest heading up to the main drag of Western Hills or Delhi for some better food and a better atmosphere.

OK place for take out. Bartenders are a little stiff to non regulars.

It took driving by Murray’s for over two years before I finally stopped in for some wings — I was pleasantly surprised. This is a clean, open sports bar atmosphere with plenty of TV screens and a friendly staff. You can order your food at the carryout corner adjacent to the bar and they’ll bring it out to you when you’re ready. And the chicken wings? Big, juicy and flavorful. Some of the better wings I’ve had in town.
