Mt. Washington Elementary

«Kids count at the Mount!» Such a silly sounding motto, but at the same time it’s cute.
I attended this elementary school from 4^th grade to 6^th grade and had a pretty good time. I really enjoyed and looked up to all of my teachers. They were all amazing and wonderful people who taught me a lot. Some of them are still there!
They have an accelerated program and a magnet program that brings in students from all over outside the Mt. Washington area. We were taught Latin in preparation for the curriculum at Walnut Hills High School even though not everyone went there. I also learned how to type about 60 words a minute when I was in the 5^th grade, which is something most people can’t say!
This is a great school for your young ones to attend. There is even a huge playground in back for recess!
