Amber was our server and she did a great job. She certainly made up for the ladies behind the bar. Food was good, so the visit was saved by Amber and her outstanding service. Thanks, will come back but avoid the bar.

I really feel like out of the chain steakhouses, Longhorn is the best. I like that they’re creative and always coming out with new items. This location is always busy so they must be doing something right. The kids and I had lunch together — my son loves the steak and my daughter and I love the chicken fingers here. Perfect chicken fingers with even more perfect honey mustard. Yes, I choose the chicken tenders over steak! We did get a small order of chili cheese fries too — not quite sure why the chili was on top but it was freaking me out a little. Longhorn is always a good spot for a good meal(and awesome service!)

I go to this location a lot with family, friends or my boyfriend. I love the food, but about half the time something is wrong with the food when it comes out of the kitchen. Normally the staff is very kind about it, quickly fixes the problem, and offers to do something about it-leave the side to eat while we wait, offer a dessert, or even pay for the meal or bill. However tonight, the waitress did not come back to check on us, and my boyfriend’s meal was wrong. We ended up asking a different waiter to bring it back and tell our waitress. She then came out and was very rude acting like it was our fault the order was wrong. We asked if we could get more bread, so he would have something to eat, but she refused saying he was capable of waiting the short time it would take to redo the dish. This short time turned into the amount of time it took me to eat my entire meal. We spoke to the manager, but no one seemed to care. I don’t mind when something is wrong, but I expect the staff to be respectable about a situation.

First time trying this location. We have dined at, and loved, the Florence, KY Longhorn on many occasions. We recently moved to Indiana and tried this location to avoid the mess trying to cross bridge into KY. It wasn’t awful. But not up to par with Florence. My wife and son got the bacon cheese stuffed filet and I got the Sirloin. At Florence the filets are cut and the bacon and cheese stuffed inside. Hence the name. Here it was just put on top. Not a big deal. Just different. We all ordered medium and here is where the issue arose. Theirs were cooked medium. Mine was past medium well. It was Brown all the way through. Had the waiter come back and asked if everything was ok I would have let him know. He never came back to check so I ended up eating it because they were ¾ done. I left two pieces(about 3oz of a 9oz steak) on my plate and it was clearly well done. He never questioned as to if it was ok, never noticed that it was over done, and never questioned as to why I, a 275 lb 6′ 1″ guy decided to leave a third of his meal. Could I have complained at that point? Sure. But I was already done. The side items were ok. The fries my wife got were crazy salty. It wasn’t a horrible experience but when you pay $ 20 for a steak I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect it to be cooked correctly or at least close, and to have your waiter check back with you sooner than 20 minutes after you cut your steak.

My husband and I really like this Longhorn! We had our second date here and it was great! I luv the steak and the stuffed mushrooms! If you want rare steak it’s RARE! I learned to order medium rare for my filet! Also the manager sold my husband a chocolate stampede for a bride cake for our wedding! It was awesome!

Terrible service. Husband and I ordered two $ 25 steak dinners. Medium and medium rare. They both came out rare and cold. Then when they brought out food back out they were missing my risotto side. They then proceed to tell me they are out of the side. Seriously? It was just on my plate ten minutes earlier! The waitress said when a new signature side comes out they base their supply orders off of trial and error. His was the first week it was out. Pretty sad budgeting since we went on Monday. Just a really bad experience.

We came in at 730 on a 15 minute wait and went to the bar area. I sat down in the bar section waiting to be served but was told I could not sit there due to the wait. I politely got up ‘apologized’ and went back to the waiting area I sat there patiently for another 10 minutes while the table I was at in the bar area remained unoccupied I went back to the hostess and asked why I could not sit there and she said it was ’ due to 15 minute ’ wait time I then asked if the people ahead of me choose not to sit in the bar area why can’t I sit there. She got an attitude stating(we need to ask them first) but all the while I stood there no communication happened. She then walked me back the same table I was at in the first place with no apology as if I was inconveniencing her. #broken seating process #paying patrons Good luck and be cautious …furthermore if you do take out, check your order before you get home. They have got so big bc of location, they misplace hospitality for quality.

I was pleasantly surprised by Longhorn Steakhouse. With my husband having to be up early the next morning, we decided to have an early dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse. We were seated upon arrival. The food was great. Steak and burgers were cooked as ordered. My steak was vary flavorful. There was a nice sear on the outside. My sweet potato was fluffy and delicious. After a while, both my children found the fries to be too spicy. They didn’t seem spicy to me, but they were too salty. They may have been interpreting that as spice. The free bread was warm and soft, with a crisp outer crust. My only complaints about my meal were that the salad was obviously from a bag, with extras placed on top to try to hide it, and the plating. Though, I would rater have bad plating and amazing food, than beautiful plating a bad food. Décor could be described as country kitsch. Being a chain restaurant, it’s about what I expected. The restaurant was nice and quiet for the first half of out meal. After that, a party of 8 was seated next to us. The noise level quickly rose to that of a bar. My husband could no longer hear me over the table next to us. The food was good enough for us to go back. I look forward to trying the desserts on our next visit.

I stop here from time to time when traveling between Cincinnati and Indianapolis. It has been great each time. I’m a vegetarian so I can’t tell you about the steaks, but I always manage to find something good to eat here and within my business per diem. The mushrooms are great. They’re not too stingy on the salad dressing, which I love. Most of all, the service is great. Jamie at the bar is an asset for sure. I always get in and out promptly. I suppose free Wi-Fi would be nice, but they actually bring my food out quick enough that I don’t really have time to get on the internet. The location right off the highway, but outside of busy downtown, is very convenient.

I don’t come here often, but when I do it’s always an enjoyable experience. The food is great and the service is friendly. I only have a couple gripes. This location tends to be pretty busy — I’ve never been here without having to wait 15 – 20 minutes to be seated. Also, for this type of restaurant, the food tends to take a while to come out. But this place is great otherwise!

It seems to be getting harder and harder for chain restaurants to get it right, but I was very impressed on a recent visit to this location. Service was efficient and friendly, the décor is kind of tacky but comfortable, and every food item we ordered was tasty and well-prepared. The salad was fresh and had a variety of ingredients. My husband’s usual is the Flo’s Filet, which was a decent quality piece of meat for the money and came exactly as ordered for doneness. Sweet potato was fine. I usually just eat a few bites of his steak and salad, and have the mac and cheese as my main course. It is always EXCELLENT, some of the best I’ve eaten anywhere.

Great steaks and decent prices, but ridiculously long waits on the weekend and nothing you haven’t seen before. We went here on a Saturday night with the bf’s parents for the bf’s birthday and waited 60 minutes for a table. People who had more than 4 in their party were told 2 hours or more. Service was fine but nothing special. The food was brought out quickly, which was nice, but I also felt like the speed was just proving that they were trying to turn tables over as quickly as possible, and I didn’t feel like I could take my time and savor the meal. Which, by the way, I would have, because the filet was cooked really well and the mashed potatoes were light and fluffy. There was definitely a good amount of food involved(each entrée came with a salad and a side) but I still feel like it was slightly overpriced. Also, no prices on your alcohol menu? Not cool. It was a solid meal with solid service, but if I were to come back, it would be on a weeknight so I didn’t have to endure 60 minutes of waiting outside.

My parents and grandparents like this place a lot and so I have been here many, many times. I don’t generally like chain restaurants so I am not the biggest fan of this place. It is fine as far as a steakhouse goes, but it is definitely cookie-cutter. Though you rarely wait for a table here, it is almost always packed. The noise level tends to be almost unbearable. Also, because of the set-up of the tables, you tend to have to wind your way through other people’s conversations to get to the bathroom or to your table. If you get a booth, you will have some semblance of privacy, but god help you if you want to have a private conversation at one of the tables. The food is typical. I usually get the Sierra Chicken in an attempt to keep things healthy. Two small chicken breasts covered in salsa that come with a side and a salad. It is good enough, but doesn’t have me jumping up and down looking forward to dinner. The salad comes with loads of cheese and croutons, so be careful if you are trying to lose weight. Fortunately, I am not the biggest fan of the all-you-can-eat bread, so that is easy to avoid. Wanting to splurge… try their amazing Chocolate Stampede. I hate my father every time he orders it and offers me some! Service is generally pretty good. The restaurant and bathrooms are always clean. There is always plenty of parking. I would never choose this restaurant for my dinner, but am more than willing to go if others choose it.

We were vacationing and was recommended this restaurant for a good steak dinner. The service was very good as well as the«Texas» atmosphere. So far this really sets the stage for a good steak dinner. Menu offered the usual steakhouse fare. Prices seemed high, but if the quality of the steak is good we don’t mind. Starters and salads were good, unfortunately the steaks missed the mark. My sirloin was a pale gray, with very little grill flavor(fortunately I ordered the blue cheese crust on top). The rib eye our guest had was the same. Both our steaks needed a buzz saw to cut through. Back home we frequent the Texas Roadhouse and get the same steaks, and boy what a difference in quality!!! Good staff/servers and atmosphere, but poor quality steaks and high prices. Sorry Longhorn, we won’t be back!

Very good service. Food seems a bit pricey. Tastes just as good as outback steakhouse.
