Not a bad spot, Liberty’s Bar and Bottle seems a bit isolated from the hub-bub in OTR. As a result it seems to have a much calmer atmosphere than other spots along Main. I prefer liquor and cocktail bars, but Liberty is a good spot for a plethora of hard-you-can-drink craft beers. Reminds me a bit of Half Cut, but more spacious and less crowded. Bathroom is very Lackman-esque with multiple individual stalls. Service is pretty solid, but I think that comes hand-in-hand with a smaller crowd.

Friendly crowd & staff. Lots of restaurant industry people after ten or so. Great wine selection and lots of craft beers. I love the château damase blend! Cooler of bottled craft beers that you can walk up to and select from. Carryout wine & beer and apparently wine tastings on sunday that I intend to check out.

Oh, this is by far my favourite bar in CIncinnati. The interior is cool, the bartenders know their stuff and are really helpful. What I like most is the quality of beers. The selection is vast and they always have something unique to broaden your beer horizons. The small pours are just enough to try many different kinds, so it’s a great way to choose what you like. Really good place! And really beautiful copper bar!

First experience at this smaller bar down on Main Street! Not a bad selection of beers on tap(~20 or so). It’s not the biggest bar around, but it is comparable in size to places like the Lackman on Vine. I enjoyed my time here with friends, and if I’m looking to grab a drink at a less crowded location, this will be an option for me.

Awesome bar! Wine on tap??? YES please! Love everything about this place. The lovely copper bar, great bartenders, the choice of wine and beer, cute small beer glasses. Simple and beautiful! Finally a place where my husband can enjoy his craft beers and I can sip a delicious glass wine out of 15 available sorts!!! I guess after you get bored with ‘cab’ or ‘merlot’ in most of the bars, this place is like a paradise! And the bartenders are always there to help. Red with long finish, fruity white or crisp rose, they have it all! Lovely and affordable!

Really relaxed bar in OTR a bit off the beaten path. A wide selection of wines and craft brews really give this place a local watering hole feel. It’s not too pricey and the service is pretty good. I hosted a small event here where the staff put together a personalized wine tasting and was very attentive. They don’t have a wide food selection, just meat and cheese trays, but allow you to bring in anything you’d like which is a nice touch.

Love friendly neighborhood bars in OTR, Liberty’s Bar & Bottle is a welcome addition to the Main and Liberty street area. I stopped by yesterday with a few girlfriends looking to catch up after work, we secured the couch, what a comfy couch it was and what a great selection of rose they had a perfect combo for a summer night. Bar service was spot on, happy to answer any questions, suggest wines, great selection of craft beer beer they have a cooler so you can pick up& take home. We will return for girls night again soon.

Liberty’s feels more like a local bar than something that’s located in OTR. Sure, it has elements of hipster in it, but it’s not over-bearing. That’s why I love it so much. It lends itself to hanging out for a long time. With large couches lining the walls, and huge a community picnic table, there are ample spots to sit away from the bar itself. They have 20 or so rotating taps that change literally every day. If you aren’t sure about a specific beer just ask the bartenders and let them know your tastes and they’ll recommend some for you and even let you try samples of each one. I like that you can buy either a small beer(i think 3 oz.) or a regular sized beer. This lends itself really well to doing a tasting of multiple beers. Aside from the main attraction, the beer, they offer a nice sized liquor and wine collection if beer isn’t your thing. You can also buy something straight from the cooler to take home with you if you would like. They offer some small snacks, like a cheese board, but they also allow you to bring food in or order something so you don’t need to leave if you don’t want to. Which you may not want to. This is my go-to bar in the OTR area if I’m not up for a more crazy setting. I think that is what they are going for and I think that they have nailed it exactly. Keep up the good work Liberty’s, and I’ll see you soon.

Liberty’s is a lovely addition to the OTR bar scene. It’s amazing how the lighting can completely transform the atmosphere. It’s bright and airy during the day, and wonderfully romantic at night. Few places can serve double duty as a go-to spot for a low key Sunday afternoon with friends AND date night. I love that places like this are cropping up in Cincinnati. Makes me regret not moving to a larger city slightly less(only kind of joking…) The selection here is amazing, and you will most definitely find your new favorite wine or beer. Lots of rare finds as well. My only complaint would be that I wish the staff were friendlier. I want to believe that they’re very talented and knowledgeable about the selection, but I just haven’t experienced that yet. One bartender didn’t speak to me other than to rather rudely correct me after I mispronounced the complicated name of some wine. Another girl couldn’t even be bothered to greet us, finished up a conversation with a coworker, and fired off a few text messages before acknowledging our presence. I’m in the service industry myself, and totally recognize that we all have bad days, but I really felt like they detracted from the overall welcoming vibe of the place.

Ummm… The music tonight was amazing! Old school 90s rap it was great! No signature cocktails which I think they could create and make some $$$$$ on! I know I would have bought one. Bar tenders know their wine and beer.

I really love Liberty’s and what they have done with this space. Hats off to Garth, Tom, and Jeremy on this collaboration. The wine selection is phenomenal and they have a good craft brew selection. The inside was done right in the sense that you feel welcome with the doors open, it just has a friendly feel and atmosphere. It reminds me in a way of being the Lackman of Main St., with a bit more of an upscale feel. The giant mural of naked people and pigs is great and a conversation piece. The staff has always been friendly and helpful when I’ve needed to ask them questions or for suggestions and not pushy. There is really nothing negative I have to say about this place, it’s all around a great place to enjoy a beer or to split a bottle of wine with someone.

This place is a beer lover’s dream. Cozy and classy atmosphere with an awesome mural decorating one of the walls. The tap selection is always on point and routinely features some stellar rare beers. The bartenders are knowledgable about beer and can definitely offer suggestions for the less experienced craft beer connoisseur. I can’t wait to stop by in the summer and check out the back patio.

I adore Liberty’s! It is our favorite go-to spot to start an evening downtown. Their beer and wine list rotate regularly and something popular or interesting is always making the list. I also love that they have a cooler of wines and beers you can drink there for a small fee or purchase to go. I love the ambiance, location and staff. It can get busy and slightly loud late evenings and weekends, so we prefer to go for their awesome happy hour or late afternoons on the weekends.

Oh how great you could be… Nice place, but I feel it loses it’s charm when it gets too busy. I know they want to be busy, I get it, I really do. But it gets TOO packed sometimes for a place where I want to enjoy a high quality glass of wine or beer. Visit for happy hour or weekend afternoons, stay away from fri and sat night.

Liberty’s is a great addition to the neighborhood and one of my favorite places to grab a drink(or two, or three?) with friends. Both the ambiance & beer/wine/liquor selection make it a great spot. They have an excellent rotating selection of beer and quite the variety of wines as well. If you have a palate above bud light you’ll be able to find something to make you happy. I like that they offer both the beers & wine in full or half pours. It makes trying a solid amount of a variety of beverages easy to do. Plus I think it’s entertaining to feel like a giant while drinking a beer out of the smaller glasses.

Liberty’s has really started to grow on me! After my most recent experience there, I’m sure I’ll be frequenting this place much more often. I had been to Liberty’s before around the time when they first opened and for whatever reason I just wasn’t impressed. At the time, it seemed just a little bit stale to me, dry even, but that just isn’t the case anymore. The atmosphere at Liberty’s really has improved and I like it! The vibe of this place is still pretty chill, laid back and intimate but in a good way. The lights are dim and the music is low which is nice if you’re on a date or out with a friend and would like to have a conversation over a drink or two. Let me point out that the first time I went to Liberty’s, they didn’t even have music which contributed to that«dry» feeling but that is no more! Interesting how much a little background music can change things! I’m really loving the progression of LIberty’s and glad that I went back to check them out a second time.

You can’t beat Liberty’s for happy hour in OTR. 20 rotating craft beer taps and wine provide an overwhelming number of options. I typically go with a variety of the 5 oz draft pours to mix it up a little bit. Liberty’s features a beautiful 100+ year old wood bar that is a historic piece of artwork itself. It is something to be admired. Go there early for happy hour, grab a seat at the bar and enjoy some banter with the bartender. Always great conversation and top notch service. These guys know what they’re doing. Tip: Food-wise they are limited to meat and cheese plates, so either grab some food somewhere before you go or plan to hit Gomez Salsa for a post-Liberty’s turtle… or do both!

Liberty’s is another great watering hole in OTR that appreciates great craft beer. They have an amazing selection of both beer and wine, which should please most palates. They not only represent local breweries but also bring in beers that are difficult to find elsewhere. I love that you can order a half pour of a beer that comes in a cute tiny glass. This is especially great if you want to try several kinds or just can’t decide which one to get. They also sell six packs and bottles of wine to-go, making them a good place to stop and grab something on the way to a party. Besides the beer, Liberty’s space is my favorite part of it. The art on the back wall is beautiful and I always enjoy looking at it. There are huge doors that they open up when the weather is nice, making it feel like you are outside. There are various seating options that can accommodate both small and large groups comfortably. I also LOVE the little pigs outside! The staff has always been friendly and well-informed on their products. I was slightly confused by my first visit about their pet policy. I was told by an owner that they are pet-friendly, but then the manager(I think) said that I may not be able to bring my dog the next time if they are crowded. We were one of a few people in there as this was an off-time(Sunday evening). Please note that my dog was sitting on my lap taking a nap because she was tired, not running around causing problems. I would not be upset if they did not allow pets, just would like for it to have been clarified either way. I am still unsure if they are pet-friendly or only if they are not busy or not at all. To end on a positive note, Liberty’s is a fantastic addition to Main Street and I am sure I will be here often enjoying lots of tiny beers!!!

Cincinnati… how you keep getting better! How I wish Liberty Bar was located a street down from where I live so I can walk to it every weekend! When I heard they opened up another Bar in the Over the Rhine area, my husband and I made the effort to come downtown and check it out. What stood out was the pig statues out front, the french doorways, and the beautiful painting on the right hand side when you walk in. Beautiful simple décor, beer hall style table, and loved the leather seat couch/chair sitting in the middle. When I looked around, you noticed the original wood flooring and walls(very detailed and spacious). This is a craft beer and wine bar/retail shop too. They also have a small selection of bourbon, vodka and gin. With the beer, they have American and European craft beers with 12 – 20 on tap and about 25 – 30 bottles and cans. You can also get them to go in six packs. Price ranging from $ 4.00 to $ 15.00 by glass, and they have wines that go up to $ 13.00 per glass.$ 10.00-$ 80.00 per bottle also for retail. My husband and I only had drinks. I heard they serve cheese, Shadeau bread and meats from Avril-Bleh & Sons Meat Market. The service was great and staff very knowledgable on the beer and wine. Definately a great addition to the downtown area. Love this place, it’s very intimate and cozy.

Oh Liberty’s you beautiful little thing you! Tom Stephen, Garth Lieb and Jeremy Moore who have been in the industry for years have come together to collaborate on something really special — a beautiful craft beer, wine bar and retail shop. Liberty’s for me is more than just a bar, it’s a place to grab a bottle of wine on the way home, it’s a place to feel at home, a place to sit and bask in the fresh air and enjoy a nice cold brew. What I love most about this place is the floor to ceiling french doors that open up entirely and make you feel like you are sitting outside. THIS alone is worth 5 stars. I am also obsessed with the long copper community bar in the center of the room. The architecture of the building alone is reason enough to stop by and check it out. The bar itself houses 20 rotating taps all focusing on craft and local beer options. They also have a really nice case that has over 40 craft canned beers as well. As for the wine, well I really wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised! Don’t quote me on the number but they must have had 60 bottles just in the case, including champagne which is my favorite. Kudos on that! And they have 15 wine pours by the glass. As for food, they don’t have a kitchen, but they do offer Shadeau breads and Avril-Bleh meat and cheese boards which is perfect for the vibe of this place. I also appreciate that they kept it local. The prices are reasonable especially during happy hour 2−7pm $ 5 house red/white wine and $ 3.50 drafts. Last but certainly not least, be sure to check out the three little pigs out front, you can’t miss them. Overall, I can definitely see myself hanging out here at least once or twice a week. Love love love this place. Well done guys!
