History
Established in 2005.
Katy has been in the jewelry business for over 20 years and started appraising independently in 2005. The appraiser shows great passion for all fine jewelry; whether it is a new engagement ring, a designer masterpiece, or a treasured family heirloom. Katy’s studies are ongoing as she attends gem, jewelry and appraisal related conferences and workshops regularly. The appraiser’s gem lab has been named AGA’s Certified Gemological Laboratory #45, by the Accredited Gemologists Association.

Katy Bodenburg is a Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America and a Certified Master Appraiser through the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers. She is a member of the Accredited Gemologists Association and the Association of Independent Jewellery Valuers. The appraiser attended the University of Akron and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design.
