History

Established in 1998.

During their time in the Architecture Program at the University of Cincinnati, the K4 Principals often discussed that the role of the Architect had changed over time. The concept of the Architect as the «Master Builder» had been lost. They felt strongly that the Architect creating the vision should also play a central role in making the vision a reality. Their vision was to create a firm that would be held accountable for the entire design and development of the project from initial inception of the idea to turning over a set of keys to the Owner at the completion of the project. The timeline to the left illustrates the growth of this ideology since 1990. In response to the changing needs of our clients, K4 has evolved into a firm providing Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design & Construction Services, concentrating our efforts in the financial, credit union, education, health care and retail industries.

Business Owner

As the founding member of K4, Jeff‘s knowledge of the entire built environment process, experience in the management of roll-​out programs, and commitment to serving clients has led to the integrated, total solutions company that is K4 today. Jeff has 20+ years of comprehensive architectural and program management experience specializing in retail development and financial markets, leading over 500 projects. Jeff keeps busy thinking of ways to inspire his employees and expresses a genuine interest in their career development; supporting continuing education, mentorships and other opportunities for career advancement. He possesses excellent teamwork skills and an ability to share credit, when deserved. K4 employees and clients regard Jeff as someone who genuinely cares about their needs and wants. In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, handy man projects, and practicing and living his faith.
