I was into the dealership in early January, 2016 for service. This was major service. I was totally impressed. I have taken my car for service to another Toyota dealer in the area in the past. This dealer went out of their way as far as service. They even washed my truck. That has not happened at other dealers. Even though I am knowledgeable about vehicles because I use to work for Toyota North America, they still took the time to tell me in detail the issues with my vehicle. This is not the run of the mill dealer. Toyota should be very happy with these guys!

These guys are great! Bought a new 4runner. Got hands down the best price. Also traded in my used car. Got $ 1000 more for it then any other place i checked. Service people are awesome!
Will shop here again!

Researched purchasing a Toyota Camry from all the Toyota dealers in Cincinnati area. Joseph Toyota far and above had the best price. Also working with Larry Reed was a no nonsense experience. Gave us great service at a great price. No hassle as well.

Recently purchased a 2015 Prius v and the internet sales group and Larry Reed were great! I wanted a specific trim level, interior color, and exterior color. He searched their Toyota database and found that within 300 miles there was only one that fit our preferences. That was on a Sunday and he called Monday saying they were sending someone to get it (at 100+ miles away) so we could see it! He had no guarantees we would buy, no deposit given, and we thought we might like the color but only had seen it in photos! Due to work we couldn’t get there until Wednesday (they are 35 miles from us). Upon arrival we drove it and were very pleased. Still no pressure and after 2 hours of a nice visit and thorough orientation to the Prius v (our first hybrid) we traded our Enclave, wrote a check for the difference, and were done. Use the internet group, ask for Larry Reed, and if you are like us, expect to be treated with courtesy and respect whether you buy ornot!

I recently moved, and Joseph Toyota center is a closer service center to me, than previously visited Toyota center.
I took my Scion tC, Ella (yes, I named her haha), in for routine maintenance, to a different (current) Toyota Scion dealer/​service center this time. Rewinding to when I was at about 6,000 miles, my car started making an odd, while slightly concerning, noise while idling, it was like a knocking/​rattling noise behind the dashboard, and at times, would get violent enough that it would shake the entire steering column, and could feel the shaking through the entire car. I used to go to a different Toyota Scion service center, and mentioned the continous issue numerous times, only to be told that they didn’t hear the noise, that I had too many things rattling in the storage area below the radio, that nothing was wrong with my car, that they needed to hear it to do anything, or record it on my phone while it was doing it (I did not feel comfortable using my phone to do this while driving, and/​or risking a traffic ticket for using my smartphone while operating my vehicle), and that if I left it at the service center to be checked out, I would have to pay for my own rental ($ 40 per day) while having no guarantee how long they would hold my car. Every time I left their center, only about a mile or so down the road, typically at a stop light, my poor Ella would start shaking again. At the 10,000 mile maintenance check, same thing happened.
Skip forward to today. I made an appointment online on Tuesday to take my car in on the following Thursday, but apparently it didn’t register on their site. I took my car to Joseph Toyota center this morning at 7:30 for the 15,000 mile maintenance check, and mentioned the noise to them as well. The guy, who took my info, acknowledged that it is a huge concern, and said they’ll test drive it, and try to get to the bottom of it. He then showed me to the lounge, offered coffee, and stated that even though my appointment didn’t register, they will still get it taken care of as soon as possible.
I went ahead, got some coffee, grabbed a donut, and got comfy. Half hour passed, and the guy came in, motioned me over, and said everything looked great, brakes were still in brand new condition, fluids have been topped off. Then, came the inevitable «but». He stated that the mechanics took my car and drove it, and they heard the noise I spoke of. He proceeded to say that they can go ahead and have it looked at, but will need at least a full day to do so. He then said that I will have to get a rental car. I twinged, and asked how much I would have to pay. «Nothing, it’s free of charge, it’s in your warranty as well, we will just have to get a copy of your driver license and copy of your car insurance, and you’ll be set!” — I was pretty speechless.
I am so happy that it’s finally getting taken care of! I am also very grateful for such amazing service I received today. I was in and out of there within one hour, and finally have an actual result besides «we dunno»

So my lovely Ella is now, officially, in the shop, getting her insides inspected. Tommy and I took her in to the service center about an hour ago. I miss her so much already, and I hope there’s nothing substantially wrong with her. Again, the people at Joseph Toyota treated me so well, I am so glad I decided to go through them. We weren’t given a specified time frame for how long my baby will be in the shop (I totally forgot to ask, but if anyone has any idea, please let me know), but we were given a rental on the spot. I was very surprised to be given a 2015 Camry with under 1,000 miles on it, especially as I’ve never seen a dealership do that, ever. The one downside with the rental, is that it didn’t have a full tank of gas, barely over a quarter tank, but it’s only a slight inconvenience, compared to what I’ve dealt with in my previous experience at the other dealership.
I can’t express enough just how happy I am with Joseph Toyota, and the fact that I chose to go to this location this time! They’ve treated us and my Ella so well, and so very taken care of!

Took my truck back for two recalls… they gave me an argument about one of them and I had to call Toyota’s general HQ and get them to intervene. They also forgot to call me to let me know that they needed the truck all weekend as I waited… and waited… and waited at IHOP downing five cups of coffee. Anyone know a good mechanic? Deano

My experience definitely reinforced the negative stereotype of car salesmen.
I had a very frustrating experience with Joseph Toyota. After a series of visits and conversations with them, I felt good about moving to the purchase stage with them. I arrived with a blank check in my wallet, ready to buy the car I wanted.
When the rubber hit the road and I was ready to buy, it was clear a number of things they told me suddenly were not true anymore. This included a «set date» that they gave me for when the car I wanted would arrived.
The whole experience felt very disrespectful to me and I walked out.
The next day, I emailed 4 – 5 other dealers in town asking for their best offer. All offers I received were significantly cheaper than Joseph’s best offer. I ended up ordering the car from another dealer in town who made the entire experience respectful and easy, not to mention about $ 2,000 cheaper. Joseph had the inside line with me but lost any hope of future revenue from our family because of the disrespectful way they dealt with me.
After telling a number of friends about the experience, quite a few people told me they would never do business with this dealer.
All’s well that ends well because the car is on its way for a much better price. And I have another dealer that I’m happy to deal with and refer in the future.

Large open waiting room. Not com packed like the other place I have been going to. This place has the shop noise well away from the waiting area. I like to know my car is being worked on but I don’t need to hear the guys doing it. The store is peacefully quiet but work is being done. This is a shocker. The store has snacks this is a nice option and free wifi this seems silly because I have massive cell service. People act like this is a gift from above and those who do not notice it are baffled. The store is clean people are busy and not rushed. I did enjoy the online appointment option they responded quickly. The service was good will be back

I got my Toyota serviced here even though I bought it at a different location. This dealership by far has the best service department than any dealership I have ever been to, even luxury car companies such as BMW, Lexus, or Mercedes. Everyone was very polite and friendly. I was able to easily make an appointment online and my car was serviced rather quickly. I will definitely be going back here. They also gave me a box of yummy chocolate-​covered biscuits when I was checking out :) :) :)

Service dept. waiting room upgraded nicely — and the synthetic oil last 10,000 miles.

We purchased a Highlander from them earlier this month, and it was a very pleasant experience. Most of the negotiations were done over the phone, and although they did not have what we wanted on their lot, they obtained it from a nearby dealer expeditiously… something the other dealers we were in contact with could have done but they either didn’t offer to do it or couldn’t do it as quickly. The salesperson was professional, informative and helpful, friendly, and he explained the pros and cons to any decisions we needed to make. We felt he was very honest, their was no pressure, and when we went to pick the vehicle up, everything was explained to us in a forthright manner. We felt we paid a fair price and would definitely do business with these folks again, even though they are not the closest Toyota dealer to our home. We love these guys!

When Toyota HQ mailed me a letter saying something about having to replace a recalled part, I was annoyed. Not only because I had to deal with finding the time to go get it fixed, but because I hate dealing with dealerships and mechanics. But at least Toyota was paying for the work. So, I picked a dealership with an autoshop that was close to other places I had to run errands. Boy, was it serendipitous to be next to Joseph Toyota of Cincinnati.
First of all, you can make an online appointment. I hate having to be on hold, or getting transferred from agent to agent, so that was a huge plus. When I rolled in through the service garage doors, I wasn’t «greeted» per se but the agents’ desks were right when you exit your car, and so they were really approachable. The agent helped me through the process pretty quickly — courteous and efficient. I walked on through toward the waiting room when I saw a sign for «Free wifi» which is pretty standard nowadays. BUT THEY ALSO LOAN OUT LAPTOPS IF YOU DIDN’T BRING ONE. WTF. That’s amazing. I didn’t take advantage of that because I had my laptop with me, but that’s a perk I have NEVER seen anywhere else. The waiting room was full of people. I looked for the coffee dispenser but before my eyes found the caffeine source, they caught sight of a basket full of SNACKS. Chips, popcorn, crackers. Okay, Joseph Toyota — seriously, be still my heart! The only complaint I have about the waiting room is that there are no desks or tables on which to place my laptop to do some work while I’m waiting. However, I followed the signs to a rear waiting room and they have an airport style cubicle waiting area. So I went back to the agent to tell them that I was in the back waiting area in case they couldn’t find me to tell me my car was ready. They came to get me before the estimated time, so I was ecstatic. He walked me to the cashier to pay for the oil change I ended up having them do on top of the replaced part, and I was given a box of milk chocolate coated butter cookies (for free!). They gave my car an external wash and vacuumed my seats. Seriously, a nice touch.
My only complaint is that they didn’t go over what they had done to my car. I think it’s always helpful to know that kind of stuff, so that’d be my only constructive criticism. Otherwise, fast service, courtesy, lots of free perks — I’ll definitely be back for any other car issues. I hope to not have to use them for car troubles, but I’ll let you the Unilocalosphere know with an update if I do.

Ya know, car maintenance is always a time sink. However, I received a recall notice and thought, well, at least the work is free. So I headed over on a Saturday morning, which I recommend if you have to go on a weekend. Anyways, the waiting area is clean and has all kinds of Sun Chip bags, and self serve coffee. Nice! There are plenty of magazines and, while mostly car related, are current and in good shape. The best part and most important aspect of the dealership is that there is free WiFi and laptops that you can borrow while you wait. I’ve actually never seen this offered anywhere, have you? I was in and out the door in a little over an hour which was the promised time. I liked that as well. Oh, yeah, and when you either pick up your keys or pay for service, the nice girl behind the counter has free boxes of cookies for you.
So if you are dropping a large amount on a new or used car, getting your car fixed, or just picking up some Toyota merchandise in the little shop there, you’ll have a good time.
I would have 5* this place, but the check in guy seemed a little gruff and not the friendliest. I almost understand, I didn’t want to be up at 8AM on a weekend either. :)

I just wanted to say I had the most pleasant experience in my most recent car purchase. I was trying to buy a new Prius which, because of their incredible mpg, are a rare commodity on any dealer’s lot. I sent emails to 4 dealerships and the first to respond was Larry Reed from Joseph Toyota.
Not only was Larry the first to respond, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout my experience at Joseph Toyota. He was professional, personable and made my Prius purchase enjoyable to the end. My compliments to Larry, John and the rest of the staff at Joseph for a job well done.
