Terrible company, I personally witnessed two local Home Helper franchisee’s lose their business and their house. The company has no marketing skills, they may be great at helping seniors but terrible at helping their local franchise owners stay in business. When local franchisee’s in my market tried to grow their business through web advertising they were sent legal cease and desist letters. I would be very careful if you are considering a franchise from these folks. They are not helpful at helping their franchisee get and retain customers. They tie the hands of their local franchisee so they can not advertise or market their business. Their website doesn’t help the local franchise. No marketing plans, no national marketing budget. No co-​op advertising plans. NOTHING. If you try to advertise they limit what you can and can’t do. I feel sorry for the former Home Helper owners I met at networking events. A national franchise should help you get business. A national franchise should help you by giving you the secrets to the Colonel’s recipe, and the secrets to success. They have no magic wand. You are own your own with these folks. Look elsewhere, they do not have «it» together.
