I have been going to Hancock Fabrics for 2 decades and am a fan. They have a pretty good selection of fabric, notions, patterns, machines, books, crafts, etc. It’s where I always bought Halloween costume patterns for my children and niece. Before that patterns and fabric to make my clothes. Just recently I found out that one or two days a month, there is a senior citizen discount that you can use on sales, too. Go to their website for other coupons. If decorator fabric is what you are looking for, they have an inventory onsite plus small sample selections from which you can order from. You just have to make sure to order in full yards. This was an option that I’ve availed myself of on more than one occasion and have been very satisfied. Through all this time, I have never encountered any employee who hasn’t been helpful and pleasant. That plus a convenient location makes this place my favorite fabric store!

I believe the selection and prices here are very good. Due to a large volume of craft, home re-modeling, and art cable shows I think people expect all craft and fabric stores to be marveolous boutiques with Colgate smiling sales people beaming with energy and ideas. The truth is, this place has a decent selection and have proper trained staffing. What else can you ask for these days and times?

The store has a good selection, but the employees are the rudest people! The manager is so unfriendly, the two teens yell at each other while working, and not one person cares about the customer. I have never seen them smile, and when asking for help, they just point in a direction. These are the WORST employees I’ve ever met. When I told the manager how I felt, she defended herself and smiled as she apologized. Choose a locally owned fabric store.
