Glow Sunfree Tanning and Waxing

I’ve had a few spray tans in the past, but this one by far was the best! The color is great and no staining on my feet and hands. I still have a great tan as Jamie is very knowledgeable on how to apply it well and help you preserve it. It’s been over a week. I will definitely be returning.

Customer service is one of the most important things to have when you own a business, and it is something I found sorely lacking in this place.
I booked an appointment a few days ahead to get a slight glow to my skin for a friend’s wedding that I’m in. However, being from out of town, I had no idea that there would be so much construction on the freeways, leading to traffic overload and me being a few minutes late. That would normally be fine for most businesses, but apparently this one books appointments so close together that they feel the need to be pushy in text messages, telling you that you only have a finite amount of minutes left in your appointment. If that wasn’t bad enough customer service, when I responded as best I could (illegally texting while driving to appease her) that I was lost and from out of town and was almost there according to my GPS, I was told to hurry it up.
When my GPS said we had arrived at the location, it was a bunch of apartments and houses. So the address is faulty on the Unilocal page or you just have to be a native Cincinnatian to know how to get there. Whomever was texting me had zero customer service, so I told them that I was sorry for the inconvenience but I couldn’t seem to find their location and I was going to just go with someone else. I don’t want to give my hard earned money to someone who is so rude to me!

FYI — new location!!! Glow used to be in the Oakley square area, but now it is in the Salon Lofts in the Hyde Park Kroger plaza. Next time I’m there, I will try to take some pictures.
Jamie does a great job with your spray tan. She’ll ask you questions about how dark you want to be, give you sticky pads for your feet and lotion for your hands and feet so they don’t turn orange. She is respectful and fast with the service, and her prices are fair. You will pay a little more than going to a booth, but you will also get a better result. I recommend buying a package since they don’t expire and you save money!

If you’ve ever had doubts about spray tanning, forget em! Glow absolutely met and exceeded my expectations.
I refuse to tan, but wanted a little color for my engagement photos and my co-​worker gave Glow a rave review so I made an appointment for Saturday around noon. The space is small and cozy, but really cute and Jamie was just finishing someone when I arrived.
The process itself is super easy. You have a short consultation with Jamie, then after she leaves, you strip down to whatever you’re comfortable with, put a little lotion (provided) on your hands and feet and you start getting the spray down, which takes about 7 minutes or so. I felt super comfortable even though I was in little more than my birthday suit.
My only caution is that afterwards you might think you resemble tan mom. Yes, that tan mom. It’s from a bronzer that washes off in the shower. Unfortunately, I had to run some errands afterwards but next time I’ll plan better. Also, read the directions on Glow’s website. I really think that made my tan last the whole 7 days.
If you’re a fair-​skinned girl like myself, I highly recommend the lightest option. My tan was very natural and looked great in photos. When I took off my makeup that week, my skin looked really healthy and my skin tone was very even, which is unusual for me.
I will definitely be visiting Glow before big events, especially my wedding.

The color is customized for your skin tone so that you are perfectly bronzed. Great hours & great price. They also have online booking which is very convenient. Glow is my «go to»!

Ok. So fast forward a year and I am now a devoted Glow girl! A melanoma diagnosis
A few months back was enough to scare the bajeebus out of me and really made me rethink all of my sun exposure. I have been tan all my life. Outdoor, tanning beds, Etc. I was really nervous that I was going to look orange. Or stink. Or that it would be splotchy. All of my clients telling me otherwise the entire time though.
I now spray tan once a week at Glow. IT IS SO NATURAL!

My tan looks like a healthy glow, NEVER orange. No build up or splotchiness, no stink after I shower… it is perfect!
I feel completely at ease sending my clientele next door to receive services

The best guys haircut you will find in Cincinnati! Surprisingly Glow also offers mens haircuts at a great price ($ 20.00). It’s all about the V.I.P treatment here, only one chair (so appointments are preferred, but she is very flexible) free coffee and snacks! The salon itself is very clean/​modern with great music.
Amanda makes the experience so enjoyable, she is very authentic and funny! Which i love, no more awkward hairstylist conversation. The way to any guys heart is with a good head massage/​shampoo and she delivers! She is very skilled and versed with new styles, my hair ALWAYS gets complements from the ladies! She styles your hair for free, they dont sell any products here so your never get a sales pitch! They sometimes have sales for checking in with facebook/​foursquare, so its worth mentioning! Guys, dont pass over then hidden gem because of the name!

THE BEST!!! I recently needed an emergency eyebrow wax and Jaime was great! I got right in and she is great at shaping brows with little pain. I have recommended the salon to a lot of my friends. I’ll be back soon to get sprayed!

Love the girls at Glow– so professional and helpful. They know what they’re doing and are quick to give great advice to help you look your best for any special upcoming occasion. (I recommended them to all my bridesmaids for my recent wedding!)
They charge about the same price for a booth tan at one of those chains, but the results are above and beyond anything you’d get from a Versa Spa. You’ll be a little dark the day you get your tan, but it turns into a gorgeous, natural looking color by the next day.
If you’re looking for a great healthy tan this is THE place to go! Seriously, I will not go anyplace else!

I am quite the fair skinned person and the sun and I just don’t mix so I often get sunless tans. This year especially, I’ve attended 7 weddings and I just didn’t want to look pale and pasty in all of my cute dresses! I have tried many places for sunless tans and I especially like Glow. They can customize the tanning solution so that you are not too dark/​orange for your natural skin tone. This is important to me as I don’t want to look unnatural. The girl who does the spraying (I think she’s the owner) does a great job and makes the experience comfortable. She is also good at evening the tan out with a roller foam brush and then brushing baby powder on at the end so you don’t feel sticky. I highly recommend Glow for sunless tanning and if you haven’t tried it before, Glow would be a great place to start.
