Ecua Motors & Towing

I’ve been to Equamotors a few times and I really appreciate their work. Their maintenance and customer service. They don’t rip you off like the majority of Firestones and, as a woman, they don’t treat me like I’m an idiot. I trust them as both mechanics and people.

I went to Ecua Motors after my car AC compressor died and I smelled smoke. It was just after 6pm and they were just about to close up, but they looked at my car and told me they could fix it within a day. Patrick, one of the mechanics gave me a rundown of everything that would be replaced, explained why each one needed to be replaced, and gave a pretty close estimate of costs. I told Patrick that I worked very long hours and wouldn’t be able to come get the car for a couple of days, and wasn’t sure how I would be able to get to work over the next day or so, etc. He even put up with me spending time frantically calling my dad (staying open even later…). Patrick went above and beyond, told me that he would arrive to the shop very early the next day to order the part (s) needed and have it fixed by my lunch hour! This simplified my life so much. Not only did he work overtime to get my car fixed ASAP, he even let me borrow the shop car so I could get home safely and get to work the next morning. When I arrived to get my car he showed me each of the parts removed/​replaced so I could see exactly what was done. The overall cost for everything was at the lowest end of what he originally quoted me, so that was nice too.
BY FAR the best service I have ever received from a mechanic and hands down the most honest. I tried to pay Patrick back for gas for the loaner but he refused but I knew I had to do something to thank him and the shop. so this review is the least I could do. It just happened to be the closest shop when my car started to smell like smoke so I think I got lucky. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone for any kind of fixes. This was as good an experience as you can possibly get from any mechanic. A+++
