Excellent shop! Came here for a DSG service on my 2013 VW cc. Drop-​off was convenient and they were significantly cheaper ($ 100 less) than the dealer. Staff was professional and got the car back on time (and cleaned to a shine!) I was a little hesitant to transition from going to the dealer under warranty to an independent shop, but I am definitely coming back for the next major service.

I had always brought my A4 into the dealer and a good friend and Audi enthusiast recommended Dubwerx and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. They fixed problems with my windows and replaced my timing belt (it was near ~70K miles) at a great price. It was great to find a local reliable honest shop that does great work. I’m recommending to anyone I know with a VW/​Audi. THANK YOU!

These guys are the best. Normally I do the majority of repairs and maintenance on my VW TDI Passat with 330,000 miles on it. After I had a no start situation and checking everything out possible without having the diagnostic computer for TDI’s I had towed to Dubwerx.
I was impressed with their thorough diagnosis and willingness to fully determine cause of the problem without simply throwing parts in it until problem solved and trying to find the most economical solution. They did keep me informed during the whole process and I am confident they did a professional job repairing my Passat.

I live about an hour north in the Dayton suburbs with a couple of service shop options, but none that came too highly recommended. Then I found Dubwerx.
Even after working a long 12 hour night rotation, I showed up early to an appointment and was out the door in 3.5 hours for numerous maintenance.
I planned poorly, and was in the lobby for at least 2 hours and never felt like the annoying, hovering customer. I was offered a couple options for killing time and the staff were accommodating in all respects.
The cost of service was cheaper than the quote from one Audi dealer who took forever to reach out to me regarding an online service request. (Over a week) The cost savings was an additional perk, and what I was quoted was what I paid — no hidden fees.
On a closing note, all service records were furnished to me from a northern Florida Audi when buying my S5. The staff never once tried to upsell me any service, nor did they fabricate additional work that should be done. In past experiences, too many shops attempt to generate profits dishonestly.
Needless to say, the integrity & professionalism of the staff paired with flexible and reliable work will have me returning for any future services.

I have never left Dubwerx unimpressed at the quality of service. I find the staff professional, courteous and informative. This place is like a hidden treasure I never knew existed (until I bought a VW and started looking around for a qualified service shop that was not also part of a dealership).
In the waiting room, I’ve heard exchanges between Dubwerx staff and other customers, and could easily detect the satisfaction in the customers’ voices. It certainly makes one feel as if «yes, this is the right place alright».

The best customer service around. We have one VW in the family and would consider getting a 2^nd just to use Duberx as my go-​to place for repairs. They shoot straight and they are very honest. I know that when I bring my car in to be repaired here, that it will be done right and for a reasonable cost.

I was refereed by a good friend who has been taking her Volkswagen here for years. In the past I would only service my vehicle at an Audi dealer but not anymore. Dubwerx not only efficiently and expertly repaired my exhaust they did so while keeping me well informed on my options and actually saved me 500 dollars utilizing their fabrication skills over just full part replacement that was the only solution at the dealer.

After reading about a number of local shops that do APR Tunes and updates for Audi’s these guys came highly recommended and I decided it would be worth the 2hr drive. I’m beyond pleased. I’m a customer for life. Everyone there was friendly, honest, upfront and true to their word. I even asked for rental car to get some business done while in the area and they provided it without a hitch. That «little something extra» was worth a lot to me. I have 100% pride displaying their window cling on the back of my S4 and it’s really a nice accent piece. Thanks again to the a great team!

I was driving to the airport to pick up family when I missed the exit so I got off at the nearest one to double back. I pulled in to the nearest place to turn around when my car stalled and broke down. I have a 2004 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro. I could not get the car to crank or fire. There was no response when I turned the key. I already had an appointment with a different company to get a price quote on an exhaust leak from my flex pipe so conveniently the car was towed there. The next day I was told that my timing belt had failed and the first thing that came to mind was «no way, that’s not possible, I had my timing belt replaced by Dubwerx». I was shocked. They told me the belt looked very old and worn and that they would love to do the repair for me and would cover ‘everything’ for $ 2000 dollars.
I said I have a warranty for the timing belt and felt pretty confident about it although I was very worried at the time. Still in disbelief that the problem was the timing belt. I’ve never had a timing belt break on me before but I’ve heard about how extensive the damage can be and how expensive it usually is to fix. I was very worried. The timing belt was replaced about 38,000 miles ago, less than 2 years, so it made no sense why it would fail.
I contacted Dubwerx and they arranged to have my car (sharky) towed to their garage. They confirmed the timing belt had failed but there was nothing unusual that could have caused the damage other than the timing belt itself being faulty, which was really unusual. They had never seen a case like this before and still are not sure what the problem was. They then proceeded to repair everything under warranty, replaced my cylinder head with a re-​manufactured one and a new timing belt job. This got my car running again, and aside from my really loud exhaust everything seemed fine. I went ahead and had the exhaust repaired there because I wanted it to be be smooth and quiet like I expected it to be after all the work that had been put in. They kept the car for over a week. I was excited to get it back.
The car ran great … and I mean really great except for some sounds and vibrations I might be overly sensitive about. But not too far down the road I noticed the check engine light. I Had the code read at O’Reilly Auto, something about the camchain tensioner being in default position, not actuating. It was Friday and everyone had left for the weekend. This had seriously rained on my parade. Took the car back first thing Monday and had the engine desludged based on the crew’s diagnostics. This is something I would have had to do eventually as it’s notorious for the 1.8t engine. This got rid of the check engine light and was overall better for the car because it was done early. I have to say that my ride is running great and I’m really happy with the work that’s been done. Thanks guys!

I would highly recommend Dubwerx to any VW owner for routine maintenance or aftermarket performance modifications. In the time I have spent working with Adrian, Evan and the rest of the Dubwerx crew, I have found them to be more technically competent and willing to help than the VW dealerships. I believe good customer service is extremely important; customer satisfaction will bring return service and recommendations to others and these guys understand that. They have helped me where VW failed with cost, loaner support, and, most importantly, proper diagnosis. Overall, the guys at Dubwerx are the best group of mechanics I’ve ever worked with. As long as I’m in Cincinnati, there’s no other shop I would recommend. I drive a 2013 GTI, APR Stage 1 done by Dubwerx.

I’m permanently posted over seas. NorthEastern Europe to be exact. I’ve had my MKV GTI with me overseas for almost 4 years, and circumstances required I retire it to the USA.
I needed work done. I don’t mean like routine maintenance, I mean stuff that had built up over time that others were too inept to fix. It’s a Stage 3 APR’d bottle rocket. I love this car. I needed someone that not only loves to work on cars, but can do it honestly, intuitively and with the same passion I have for driving it.
I emailed «Evan» from 7000 miles away and explained my situation. He asked me for a detailed explanation of all the issues, and worked up a written estimate explaining how each issue would be approached. He patiently awaited the arrival of my car, rescheduling as necessary, for weeks on end.
I shipped my car to a complete stranger across the Atlantic Ocean, delivered it to a shop with whom I’d never done business, and just spent the better part of this weekend driving a car that is as close to perfect as you can get.
There’s something very special about these guys. The look in Evan’s eye when he hands you your keys, the firmness of his shake when he sends you on your way: it’s integrity. It’s a guarantee that what you paid for was done without cut corners or compromise.
The dealerships could offer to service my car for free, while fanning me and feeding me grapes as I bronzed in the afternoon sun and I’d still take my car to Dubwerx.
They are the best in the business, and as someone serving perpetually overseas, it’s extremely gratifying to come home to people who take pride in what they do and how they do it.

Dealership misdiagnoses and quotes at a much higher cost in apple to apples fixes. Dubwerx team is as accurate and trusting as they come in the business of auto repair.

I’ve taken my 2006 VW Jetta TDI here a number of times now, both for regular service and issues. Absolutely fantastic service every single time. They always call to update me if there’s an issue or what’s going on with my car. I’ve always received accurate quotes on what a service or fix will cost so there are no surprises at the end. I’ve never had such fantastic service, courteous and friendly staff anywhere else I’ve taken my car. I always leave feeling confident that the work was done well and by people who care about what they do. I’ll keep coming back and keep recommending Dubwerx!

Bought my 2007 A4 in for 85k service. Friendly, honest advice and the price was competitive.
Gave me a ride home during the service which was really helpful.
Adrian was the guy who helped me and he was professional and thorough with his explanations of the work they did.

I recently brought my aging Passat to Dubwerx to figure out a complicated & debilitating electrical problem. They were able to figure it out and fix it for a very reasonable cost. They did a great job explaining the issue with me and their recommended repair. Dubwerx will now be my new go-​to place for repairs and service.

Dubwerx is as good as it gets for quality customer service on your VW. Price for oil change and accompanying service is slightly less than VW dealer and just as convenient if not more. The Dubwerx staff is informative and prompt with service. For this particular oil change, I had the option of an appt or drop the car off overnight. The next appt was 8 days away bc some bays were being renovated. So we dropped off the car Tuesday night and Wednesday after work we picked it up. I just did not want to wait while service is completed. All good this time and previous visit for tune up. I much prefer their expertise over the dealership service.

Dubwerx is the go-​to shop for Audi and VW vehicles. I brought in my previously purchased used A4 for an «after purchase» inspection, and was floored with the professionalism and knowledge that the Dubwerx Team provides (esp. Adrian). They are very easy to work with and are passionate about their service. I look forward to working with Dubwerx for many years to come and take this new purchase to over 200,000miles!

I will preface this review with the fact that I am not a mechanic, but I do like to perform basic maintenance on my car like oil changes, filter changes, and other small jobs. Whenever I need extensive work done I like taking my car to Dubwerx because I feel that they have competent mechanics and a friendly staff. They are more than happy to talk technical with me which I appreciate. I have worked with Evan for the most part and he has always been straightforward with his recommendations to a point that I don’t feel he was overselling me on anything I didn’t need. I trust their mechanics and anytime I have left there I feel that my car has been in good hands with mechanics who really know their stuff.
The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because of a minor gripe, which I would only take a half star away if I could. Out of the few times I’ve taken my car there, a couple of times I had low tire pressure going in. Then after my service was complete the tire pressure is still low when I pick my car up. The first time I went back in and they fixed it for me, but the 2^nd time I was running late for a meeting so didn’t have time to go back and get my tire pressure refilled. I feel that this should be standard with any service being done as the same would be if you took your car to valvoline for a $ 50 oil change. Overall though I am completely satisfied with them and will return in the future. If you drive a VW or Audi I would highly recommend their shop.

Awhile back I posted that our Jetta had finally crossed the 100,000 mile mark. It was at that time that I was alerted to a piece of maintenance that we had neglected to have done, replacing the timing belt. I believe it is recommended to be replaced at 60−100k, so we were well overdue.
After talking it over with my dad, it was decided that replacing the belt was more work than we wanted to take on ourselves (with him doing the work and me mostly supervising). So I made a few calls to area service shops and even a dealership to get quotes. A couple of places, the dealership included, gave me a roughly $ 750 to $ 800 quote for the work (replacing belt and tensioner along with water pump, serpentine belt, and replacing the coolant). The last place I called, Dubwerx, wanted to see the car before providing a quote.
So I drove the car down to them a couple of Fridays ago for them to take a look at it. After an hour or so inspection I was given their price for the same replacement service the other guys offered, but their price was only $ 670. Since they work only on Volkswagen and Audi cars, I guess they are able to perform the job quicker than others and do it at a lower cost. My decision was made immediately and I scheduled an appointment to have the replacement done.
We dropped the car off to them last Wednesday evening so they would have it first thing Thursday morning. About 4pm on Thursday I got a call from the service director telling me that it would be done and ready for pickup before their 5:30 closing. I asked if I could leave it again overnight and pick it up on Friday morning, which was not an issue. The car was running great (just as it was) after picking it up the next day. I experienced wonderful service at Dubwerx and I will not hesitate to take my car back to them in the future.
