This place creates a pretty mean sub. I was able to try out the large Godfather(basically had everything on it). Delicious! There was not a whole lot of wait time, the staff was very friendly and the place was clean. If I’m ever in town again, this is where I’m going.

I work downtown and we regularly order in food for our employees. A few weeks ago, Jensen, brought us a sample platter or sandwiches to let us know that they run specials from time to time for corporate orders. The sampler tray was a variety of breads and sandwiches that I didn’t try at first as I am not a huge sandwich fan but after my coworkers nearly inhaled the sandwiches so soon after eating their own lunches I figured I’d better try one and I was definitely not disappointed! The bread is amazing! I think that’s a crucial in what separates this sandwich from others. There is also no shortage of meats and cheese! The everything bread is exactly that, everything! It’s sensational! And the cookies! The white chocolate macadamia nut cookies are incredible! So moist and delicious but not too sweet! We have a really hard time finding somewhere that everyone likes but this restaurant has proven multiple times to be a crowd favorite and somewhere we will definitely continue to order from in the future!

This is my new favorite sub shop! I had a chicken philly with grilled mushrooms, onions and peppers on regular bread(small). The bread was the best part of the sub, as it was super fresh and toasted to perfection! I also had one of their giant cookies, and it was sooo good! The employees were really friendly, and my sub was prepared really quickly(and they even delivered it to my table). The booths in the restaurant were really nice because they had higher backs(made them feel more secluded).

Very big portions for what you pay for! I am a big portion nut so I do like this place a lot! I am not sure why they have such a large place though. I tend to never wait in a line longer than 5 to 8 minutes to order which is very nice. Their everything bread is on point! I have had almost every sub and I’d have to say the DiBella’s Dip is my favorite!(ask for extra dipping sauce, trust me it’s so good). All in all, a tasty sub joint! I just wonder if they’re making enough to cover rent!

DiBella’s never seems that packed, which is curious because their subs are really good. I usually get the Italian assorted, and the bread is tasty, the meat is fresh, and the condiments are right in between«noticeable» and«too much.» Every time I’ve been there, a manager or someone else always comes out to the table to ask if everything is okay or if we need anything. I’ve never had that happen at another fast-casual place like Jimmy John’s or Panera. If you get the meal combo, you can add on chips or a cookie and a drink for a small amount. Even a small sandwich is still REALLY filling and will keep you full for the rest of the day.

Great grinders! This place may be a chain, but I wouldn’t have known. Second to NYNY Deli, but better hours and location for us. Stick to the cold cuts, get the everything roll– grilled with cheese. You don’t need chips or pasta salad. The grinder is a meal in itself. It always seems empty, so a little worried as the location is huge so rent must be ridiculous. Hope it stays.

I have had the pleasure of eating and being a frequent customer at this DiBella’s Location, by the University of Cincinnati(UC) campus on Calhoun Street, in the new U-Square Development. I have been meaning to give a «Shout out» to the team here at the U.C. DiBella’s– and specifically, to the manager, Charlotte. Charlotte and her team, they make every visit to DiBella’s a pleasurable experience, Customer Service is superb, and with Charlotte’s leadership at the helm, we have developed a relationship from Customer to Manager, where I cant wait for every time, to come back to this DiBella’s store, order my Philly Cheesestak– and chow down! Food is great, Service is great, and I always tell my friends, accquaintences, family members– to come to this DiBella’s Store– – Michi Fujimoto

WOW! Lived here for 2 years now and thought Jersey Mikes was the best«hoagie» in Cincy. No offense to Jersey Mikes, they still have a great sandwich but I just recently found the absolute best«hoagie» in Cincy. I ordered the«Godfather» and was swept back to south Jersey and the types of hoagies I’m used to. In Philly and south Jersey everyone says it’s the bread that makes the sandwich, that’s the case here. Awesome bread! The meats are abundant, the veggies are fresh and crisp and their special oil dressing is quite unique and tasty. I have been back many times and have promised myself to try other sandwiches but can’t seem to not order the Godfather, such a great sandwich. A definite reccomend to anyone looking for a great meal!

Check the salt and calorie content on these subs! I’ve had their medium subs on everything rolls, and either a meat trio or vegetarian. Their service is quick, friendly, and polite, and their bread is great!

Yum, yum, yum! Dibella’s catered lunch for a meeting for us today. We ordered a variety of subs my favorite of which was the veggie. Usually a veggie sub seems boring but the roasted red peppers, pickles, and black olives brought pure awesome to my sub– which was on everything bread! Chips were standard and I found the cookies to be delicious. Everything was packed well, super presentable and delicious– making a five star experience!

My family and I stopped into Dibella’s Old Fashioned Submarines in Clifton this past Sunday for a quick lunch. This was our first time at any Dibella’s location and the staff was very eager to explain the entire menu to us. This is an order at the counter style restaurant with a variety of sub sandwiches available. We were possibly the first customers of the day so we had plenty of room in their very spacious dining room. After placing our orders we were handing table numbers and our sandwiches were delivered with a few minutes. My wife ordered a small chicken Philly($ 6.29) topped with grilled chicken, melted cheese, peppers and onions. I wouldn’t say that this sandwich is going to win Dibella’s any awards, but it was fairly good and the multigrain bread was quite tasty. I ordered a medium size old fashioned($ 6.99) with turkey, ham, and Genoa salami. There are a wide variety of toppings to customize each sandwich just they way you like it. I chose the everything bread, which was an excellent choice. Their bread was easily what helps distinguish Dibella’s from every other sandwich shop in town. The medium-sized sandwich was plenty big and I would have been okay ordering the small, which was more than enough for my wife. Kid’s meal’s are available for $ 5.99 and include a sandwich of your choice, cookie, fruit cup, and drink. The Calhoun Street corridor is crowded with sandwich shops(Potbelly and Firehouse are within a block) but Dibella’s offers enough variety to stand up to the competition.

DiBella’s subs has been a staple for the boyfriend and I since it opened in u square. We had both been to the reed Hartman location near our high school(sycamore), and when it opened on campus it was a dream come true for both of us. His sandwich is the chicken philly with bacon, and mine is the godfather(MUST be grilled). The combination of meats in the godfather: spicy ham, salami, and capicola, are all held together by mozzarella cheese to form a delicious meat bar surrounded by crispy lettuce, juicy tomatoes, perfectly salty black olives, and just a little bit of mayo. All of this is on the softest, fluffiest bread I’ve ever had. Eliot has even asked if they sell the bread so he can eat it with pasta, soup, make it into garlic bread, etc… you get the point. It’s good bread. –1 star because it’s a little pricey for a sandwich. I’d give it a 4.5 if I could. We eat here at least once every two weeks, which for speaks for itself. Highly recommend; just whatever you get, order it grilled. Everything tastes better with melted cheese…

When I heard that another sub place was coming to Clifton, I wasn’t too excited, feeling like it’s already a pretty saturated market on that frontier. Because of this, I wasn’t too eager to try it out. However, I went in there today and was thoroughly impressed. I got a small turkey sub on their Everything bread, with a couple other ingredients and their special DiBella’s Oil. It was super delicious(the bread was amazing) and ENORMOUS for a small serving. In some ways, I appreciate that the sub was much meatier than any other sub place I’ve tried. In others, I definitely couldn’t finish the whole thing. I also liked that it was a pretty big(& very clean!) space, capable of handling hoards of hungry college students — unlike Penn Station. Overall, my experience there was better than really any of the other sub places in Clifton. The only reason for the 4 stars is because I really didn’t enjoy the cookie that came with the combo — waaaay too much chocolate. It was also maybe a tad on the expensive side, which makes sense since my sandwich was so big.

I was so excited that a sub sandwich place was opening up until i tasted their subs. They are generic but sub par ingredients. No different from subway and very«chain like». I think they should use better quality ingredients.
