Dial One Security has been serving the greater Cincinnati Region for over 34 years. We are a Locally Owned and Operated Business. Dial One Security provides Residential and Commercial Security and Fire Alarm Systems, Personal Emergency Response Devices, Camera and Access Control Systems, Elevator Monitoring, Temperature and Water Sensors. Dial One Security owns and operates its own UL Approved Local Central Station for monitoring of alarm systems. We also offer Total Connect Remote Services which allow you to manage your alarm system through any internet connected device such as your smartphone or computer. With Total Connect you can arm and dis-​arm your system, receive notifications when events such as a door opening as your child returns home from school.

Meet the Business Owner

John L.

Business Owner

John Lindberg has been in the security business since 1978. He founded General Electronic Security, DBA Dial One Security, in Cincinnati in 1979. John acquired partial ownership of Alarm Monitoring of Cincinnati, Inc. in 1990 and complete ownership in 2005. He currently serves as president of both companies.

John and his companies are very active in the local community. His volunteer activities include working with the City of Cincinnati’s False Alarm Reduction Unit’s Citizen Education program, participating in the City of Cincinnati’s Adopt-​A-​Block program, as well as attending many local charity functions. Dial One Security was first presented with the First Alert Professional Community Service Award in 2004, and has continued to win this honor for the past ten consecutive years. John has also been active with the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce since 1996.
