Hands down, my favorite spice shop ever. Period.
They are always so helpful. The selection is ridiculously large. The blended rubs they make are on point for sure. This is the place to go when you are trying to find something obscure, or really just want to discover something new to use in your food. I come here as often as possible. The prices are pretty fair too.

Both locations are fantastic! You cannot go wrong shopping here. Stuff you won’t find elsewhere and what they have is so vastly superior to what you find in grocery stores as to defy explanation. Whenever I’m visiting Jungle Jim’s stopping in here is a MUST just to enjoy the smell of the place! You can smell it halfway in from the outer doors and it draws you in. It’s inescapable. Every visit is eye opening and educational. If you’re stuck for ideas for dinner or an event stop in here and they’ll get you moving in a good direction. Cannot praise this place too highly.
And the Colonel’s ‘stache is amazing.

I’ve purchased spices from Colonel De a few times now and have not been disappointed yet. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to help you find what you’re looking for, even if you don’t! Expect to pay just a little bit more than you would in the spice aisle of a supermarket for some items. However, what you get in terms of quality and flavor more than makes up for the difference in price. You will also find really interesting spices and blends you wouldn’t normally see in your grocery chain. There are also several great gift ideas for the cook/​baker/​tea drinker etc. in your life. Highly recommended!
