Friendly staff, the dogs seem happy, web cams are a plus. We have used Camp Bow Wow a couple times for boarding and it has gone well each time. It’s a little bit pricey, but the quality you get for the amount you pay is well worth it.

There is always a person interacting with the dogs during day camp. My dog is always exhausted when he comes home from camp. The one thing I’m not too privy on, is that there isn’t someone there 24 hours, when the dog stays overnight. The dogs are left there alone to sleep. If you’re ok with this, then great, but personally, I’d like to have supervision for my dog all night just to know that he is ok, and nothing bad happened during the night.

This review is for daycare only as I have not yet used for boarding. Was great to be able to check in and see my dog on their video cameras throughout the day. He seemed to have a great time and enjoyed having workers in the play area as well. Loved that each of the areas had an indoor and outdoor play space so dogs could go in and out as they pleased. Will be considering for overnight as well since daycare is part of the package and my dog will be able to be out of a cage most of the day.

I feel like my dog got some personal attention and was happy. I liked that I could check in on him via the web cam

10 stars!!! This place has been a lifesaver for me! My pup always comes home exhausted and goes NUTS when I even mention the word «camp» … Plus, the staff is just incredible. They treat each dog like their own. My pup was out for a few weeks due to a contagious wart. The first day he was back, they were all so excited to see him! Made me feel really special. I love this place!

Been using Camp bow wow for about 3 years and they are amazing. They are not afraid of different breeds and will speak up for my dobie when other people are scared. I’m a dog groomer and one of the greatest compliments I ever got was how amazing it was that I remembered someone’s dog even after I had not seen them for months. And I say the same for the staff at camp bow wow. After not being all winter they still remembered sarge and were very welcoming to us. I know sarge loves it there he gets excited when we mention camp and can’t wait to get in the doors! Love this place will always go here.

Very responsive to all my inquiries. I really liked the accommodations as well. Tired dog at the end of the day. The staff were all very friendly. I loved that there were webcams on the different playgrounds too.

Cameras and app on my phone so I can entertain myself while spying on my dog having fun. And the staff is the best. Very friendly and professional.

Had a problem dog. Took him here for training. The woman who ran the place was so great! Very nice and knowledgeable. The facility is really clean! Which is surprising for a doggy day camp. I think that she may be a little pricey but it is worth it.
I would highly recommend this place! Dogs seem to like it here too!

I wish I could write a good review about this place, but unfortunately I cannot. We only had one experience with Camp Bow Wow in Blue Ash and it was probably the worst experience I have ever had. My dog stayed there for 7 days/​8 nights and she will never be going back. First of all, they do not follow any care instructions that you write down for them. We specifically asked that they not touch our dogs ears because they are sensitive, but when I checked the «camper cameras» I saw employees rubbing and touching her ears. Second of all, which is the most concerning to me, is that they completely switched our dogs belongings with another dogs. Meaning, for the entire week another dog slept on our dogs bed, ruined our dogs toys, and ate our dogs food. The night that we picked our dog up, she was extremely skinny, shedding all over the place (which never happens) and was very skittish. The fact that our dog and someone else’s dog were eating the wrong food every single day they were there is very very bad. My dog is still extremely sick from eating some horrible corn filled dog food. We will be taking her to the vet and we will be sending the bill directly to Camp Bow Wow. Lastly, the employees did not handle the situation well at all. They started to blame other people and told them that it wasn’t their fault. They wouldn’t call the owner and worst of all wouldn’t give us our things. We went back the following morning to pick up our things, but it took them a half hour to find everything we owned. They couldn’t give us one of our dogs toys back because it was torn to shreds by the other dog and her memory foam bed was completely destroyed. We are also having to re-​potty train are dog that has never had issues before because Camp Bow Wow does not know how to take care of dogs. I’m not trying to be dramatic here, but we truly had a horrific experience that was not handled well at all. And the worst of it is that my dog and someone else’s dogs have to suffer. Please, if you care about your dog, do not send them here even for a day.

Today is an updated review. I was too sick, still from my bad concussion, to go with Hubby to drop off Zoe. Our passport helper had to drive him because he forgot his Insulin this am was was confused. So we were also running late also. Not only were they sooo understanding, they even let me explain everything that needed to be done with Zoe today. Very complicated due to many factors. They listened and wrote everything down and then put Rachael on the phone with me to go over the list also. Since Hubby was still a little out of it from very late Insulin, Rachael agreed to say yes to my Hubby, but just do exactly what was on the written list! That was just great and such a stress reliever! Zoe has also been having problems adjusting to her new harness, despite all my hours of training with her so I asked Rachael what to do and she said she had same problem with her dog@1^st also and said I was doing everything right. I asked her to check with their terrifically talented trainer, Virginia, to see if she might also have some other suggestions. She said she would. This staff is the greatest, most helpful, talented, sweet, nice and knowledgeable animal (non– Vet) staff anywhere! We are so happy that we found them on Unilocal through you all! Very greatful as we have had some bad luck with a lot of groomers previously. When you have a Yorkie or a Shih Tzu, you do not expect them to come home looking like Poodles! Here we are confident that Zoe will come home looking like the beautiful Shih Tzu she is! So all you Unilocalers anywhere near Blue Ash, take your baby there. As in previous reviews, don’t forget that they have Doggie Day Care, A very gifted Trainer, and boarding. I am so thankful that we live so close and they are so very good @ their jobs and you can tell they really, really, love what they do. My favorite thing is they do it not only very well but in a short amount of time without keeping your precious pet is a cage/​crate all day. Zoe is allowed to run around the office and hand out, which is totally cool! Of course, she is a well behaved little lady since we adopted her! He has gone through so much trauma in 3 yrs, but now with all our love, Good care from Dr. Zekoff/​Staff and The Camp Bow Wow Staff, she thinks she is in Heaven! Thank you everyone. When I found a stray German Shorthaired Pointer and considered adopting her, I did my research on the breed. Pretty much every book about pointers I read said in big capital letters, «THIS BREED IS NOT GOOD FOR APARTMENTS!» But I just fell in love with this dog from the beginning I had to find some way to make it work so that this super-​hyper dog isn’t stuck in my one bedroom apartment all day while I’m at work. I found Camp Bow Wow near my office in Blue Ash as one of many doggie day care facilities where my puppy can blow off some of her never ending energy while I’m at work. I really couldn’t have picked a better place! The staff is very friendly and they know all the clients, and their owners, by name. I supply the food and they feed my dog at the time I tell them to. Unfortunately for my dog, she has been sick off and on since I adopted her. The staff at Camp Bow Wow has been very understanding and makes sure that my dog gets her medicine at the proper time. Their hours are very convenient for early drop offs and late pickups (7 am — 7 pm).
They also have webcams in their play areas so you can keep an eye on your pooch while you’re at work.
I have not used their boarding services, but if the quality of their daycare staff is any indication I’m sure that their boarding services are also at the highest standard.

I love taking my dogs here. My one dog is a crazy, lab puppy, who is full of energy. My other dog is an 8-​year-​old beagle who would rather lounge around. The good thing about Camp Bow Wow is that they allow my older dog to hang in the office with the receptionist, while my crazy dog gets to play all day. They instantly know who I am and which dogs belong to me when I arrive to their location. I usually get a few words from the workers about how they did during the day (proud momma, tell me more!), and I can tell they truly love my pups. Only negative is that it’s rather expensive if you don’t buy a package.

Camp Bow Wow is where we have been taking our two dogs for over a year and a half. It’s set up as a camp for dogs as the name implies and they almost always know each dog by name. They are very good for a doggie daycare or for boarding as well. The best part is that the dogs are left to play in one of five areas that include an indoor and outdoor area. You can also check in on your dogs via the Camper Cam on their web page. Camp Bow Wow also offers grooming and training (week boarding or longer) while you are away.
