Okay family restaurant. I had their special chicken cranberry pecan salad and it was not so very special. The lettuce was the crappy kind; I like green lettuce and this was more of the white variety. There were plenty of pecans and cranberries; I could have used less cranberries actually. Very light on the chicken. I tried my husband’s chicken noodle soup and it kind of tasted like it came out of a can. The cinnamon swirl bread was awesome though.

I had never been to a Bob Evans prior to tonight. My server Henry was one of the best I’ve ever had. You wouldn’t probably expect the broasted chicken to be good at a place like this, but it was VERY good. Great place for quick, tasty and budget friendly food. Great menu. I hope all servers are as awesome as Henry… he is the reason I am posting this.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. To begin, we got in and waited 5 minutes until someone came to seat us. By the time we were seated, 4 groups of 2 were waiting and there were many open tables. We were greeted by one woman who got us drinks. Another woman took our order without writing it down –even after I asked her if she would be able to remember it. Surprise, surprise, she didn’t remember. 25 minutes later, she came to tell us, «your food would be out soon, I just messed up because I didn’t write it down.» A manager came to our table 10 minutes later saying, «I’m trying to push your order, it’ll be out soon. Would you like some fruit or oatmeal on the house?» We agreed to the fruit, which he brought out right away. The grapes were delicious. Our food was brought out probably 10 minutes after we spoke with the manager. The eggs weren’t cooked all the way. The hash browns weren’t crispy at all and were greasy all the way through –yellow in color because there was so much grease. My boyfriend asked for sunny side up eggs and got scrambled. We asked for wheat toast and instead got white with extra butter. The toast was also yellow. We picked at our plates, probably eating only a quarter of each, before we asked the front desk for the bill($ 17 with no tip) and left. We immediately drove to the gas station across the street and got delicious Krispy Kreme donuts for the money we would have spent on the tip. Overall, I would say this was my worst dining experience ever. I wouldn’t go back to another Bob Evans if it was free. I already called the manager and she agreed that our experience was terrible and offered us coupons, which we quickly turned down.

Came here with the girlfriend and her grandmother, I ordered a burger, they both got the breasted chicken. What an adventure. The broasted chicken was not completely cooked… Wtf? We sent it back apparently the manager didn’t want to come talk to us because she thought it was done? Brought out another one and it to was pink! What’s up with this place ?! As we walked out the manager finally talked to us(it had been about 20 minutes) and gave us a crock of shit about how the chicken was cooked at 190 degrees, and agreed to take some money off the bill. We waited another few minutes and she strolled back in and I looked at the revamped bill which had an astonishing $ 2 taken off!!! Woo hoo ! If the chicken had really been cooked at 190 why was it still very very pink? As the attached photo indicates it wasn’t done. When that scene was done we all walked up and paid our bill, the guy at the counter/checkout was clueless and had no clue how to ring us out with our coupon and the huge $ 2 discount. All in all my food was great, but the broasted chicken was awful ! To me chicken is done when it’s white and tender not pink. This place is good as long as you like undercooked over salted chicken, for gods sake isn’t this one of their special dishes? The cook and manager must have been smoking some strong stuff out back because they were in denial about it. Bad.

I hold my Bob Evans to a very high standard. This one was just okay. The service was pretty slow. It took a while to get our order in. When we finally did, the food was okay. I got a turkey bacon sandwich and it was good, but tiny. My bean soup was okay; fairly nondescript, and bordering on bland. My boyfriend got the cinnamon pancakes and they were super sweet. It was a lot for 4 pancakes. The atmosphere was comfortable, as most Bob Evans are. The waitress was friendly enough, though a little short. She seemed a little harried, even though it wasn’t all that busy on a weekday morning. The prices were affordable; it was cheaper than we expected. Overall, not bad, but just okay.

Went while I was home in September on a visit. Barbie was our server and she was FANTASTIC… the coffee was always topped off with fresh hot brew. My Country Biscuit Breakfast(with sausage gravy) was just what I needed. Hot from the kitchen great flavor combo. They don’t make anything like it in AZ. Most Eggscellent breakfast with my mom!

The outcome would have been acceptable had she just not have tore the receipt… Girlfriend and I ordered breakfast. French toast, pancakes and eggs. Tasted fine. A quarter way through the meal, the dreaded hair is found. Waitress is located, apologizes and removes the charge from the bill. Manager actually delivers bill to the booth. She reiterates the waiver, apologizes and leaves. While my appetite and meal are ruined, I accept this. My girlfriend notices the receipt has been ripped. Hmmm. She says the Manager tore off the customer service survey at the bottom. We ask for a new receipt when checking out, and what do you know, there is a survey. I would have had no intention of calling or posting, but this stunt changed all of that. Minus the hair and the attempt to cover up, it was ok.

I really love Bob Evans but its certain items on the menu I don’t order. So I went outside my box and order their sirloin steak with cheese, onions, and mushrooms. The steak juicy and seasoned right. Service was good.

This is the first Bob Evans I’ve been too. My girlfriend and I had a very nice experience. She ordered a breakfast and an endless cappuccino drink, which she suspects is more of a sweet dispensed coffee drink than a true espresso cappuccino. But still, free refills? Very cool! The drink has the sturdiest whipped cream we’d ever seen. It was very thick sitting on top of the drink, refusing to melt into the drink, but then became soft and creamy once we had some to drink. Amazing stuff! I hate coffee, but I think I’d consider ordering this for myself. She described her breakfast as being better than IHOP. She didn’t have room to touch her pancakes, so we took them home and they made for a nice dinner for yours truly. I ordered a bacon chicken sandwich that comes with two sides. It can be ordered with one side for a lesser price. I think that’s a really nice option to put on the menu. I’d recommend it too, because the sides come in pretty big portions. I picked fries and macaroni and cheese. The sandwich was a good size too.
