Best for Babies opened in 2008 by Sydney Warm Tasner, a mom with a vision to provide an unmatched, hands-​on shopping experience for parents with the best products on the market. Products she’d feel comfortable using with her own children. With a focus on unique nursery furniture options, highly rated gear, responsible feeding solutions and gifts to accent any baby’s room, Syd’s aim was to help you create a one of a kind safe-​haven for your new arrival.

In August of 2010, Lizzie Levin came on board as Sydney’s partner to help spread the word about this gem of a company. For the past 10 years, Sydney and Lizzie’s friendship has been founded in honesty, laughter, family and fun… the same platform of Best for Babies. Really great experience! I knew next to nothing about baby stuff, so I was really glad the staff was so helpful. Not only were they knowledgable, they were honest about what was aspects of a product were beneficial and what was not. They really care and it’s obvious. I will definitely shop here again!

These ladies are special… with places like Babies R Us you just don’t get the personal attention and care that these ladies put into every customer interaction. Super friendly and helpful without being pushy or sell-​y. They are extremely knowledgeable of their product and market and are genuinely excited to talk about what is available.
They will special order many things for you and help you find exactly what you are looking for. Their selection of baby toys and clothes and furniture is a little more modern than other places and I want like 95% of the stuff they have in their store. They have different selections than other stores on strollers and high-​chairs in a little more high-​end brands.
The location is a little awkward, you park and enter in the back and it is a little off the beaten trail, but the drive is easy from kenwood, maybe 10minutes but totally worth it.
Overall, this is a fantastic local shop and is the place to go for your baby product needs!
