The busy gentleman lives here. The clothing is designed from the roots of the dapper english gent. The beard oils are the main reason I frequent this store. The mens jean selection is great and cut above the rest. Their denim is tight fighting and they offer a great selection of various washes. Every time I go, I am offered a cool bourbon spritzer to take the edge of the hussle and bussle of every day life. This palce has such a great interior as well!

Our city needed Article as bad as Article needs our city.
Every piece is curated with the Cincinnati man in mind. They leave passivity at the door and boldly represent what it means to be a well dressed man. I love how they make no exception on quality, the store is chalked full of American made, durable goods that should be seen as investments that will last a life time. Do yourself a favor, buy something from Article and be prepared to feel as good as you’ll look.

This place is super cool, awesome products and vendors — really diverse array of menswear and goods. Everything from shoes to pocket squares, leather accessories to fine shirts, amazing denim, beard oil and soaps. If it’s manly, and you want it, they have it. The staff has been super chill both times I“ve gone in, even considering I can’t afford 95% of what they have to offer — this store is expensive. Quality goods come with high pricetags, and I can respect that they sell quality merchandise. I can’t afford it for myself, not often anyways, but it’s an awesome place to browse, and sometimes their sales put an item in my price range. I was able to pick up a fantastic handmade leather belt for $ 30, down from $ 100, and a nice pocket square for $ 15. If you’ve got a Y chromosome, or need to shop for someone that does, you’d be hard pressed to find a better shop than Article — assuming you can afford it.
If you can’t afford it, you’d be hard pressed to find a better shop to go and hangout and find the styles you want to emulate and look for in J Crew (or Target if you’re on my budget!)!

If I opened a mens store this would be it. I’m impressed with the selection Article offers, someone did their research! They carry Juniper Ridge. I think my new obsession is juniper ridge… because who doesn’t like a their man to smell like a hiking trail. Anyway, Dane G’s review describes it perfectly, a gentleman’s closet. Also, the staff recommended some cool places to check out while we were visiting! Thank you!!!

This place is easily my new favorite menswear boutique. Perhaps «boutique» is an inaccurate descriptive word to use because it’s more like a gentleman’s closet/​dressing room than a boutique or, to be more precise– exactly how I dream MY closet/​dressing room should look. Stylish, masculine, and a tad whimsical, the place carries American and locally-​made items including jeans and Detroit-​made Shinola watches (swoon!) and Ohio Valley Beard Supply beard oil. Definitely a manly establishment! I’ll give it 5 stars when they get some beard combs!

It’s amazing the change that Cincinnati has gone through since the first couple of times I was through here for work. One of these changes is the Over the Rhine district where Article is located. It is such a wonderful thing to see.
Article is an incredible men’s store. It is beautifully designed and has everything that the modern style-​y man needs. Joe was incredibly helpful and personable and gave me the low down on a lot of the designers and lines that they carry — many of which are local. They have a great selection of items from jeans to jackets to beard and face care! Their products are quality. Also Joe spoke about how they do events involving their own brand of coffee or their own mixed cocktail that a friend of theirs created for them. This place is definitely worth visiting and supporting! I wish there were more places in every city like this. It is truly inspiring to see a place like this!

If I were a dude, or had a hubby to buy things for, I would totally shop here.
This shop is in a perfect location, on the corner of 12^th and Vine in OTR. I stopped in with a friend to take a look around. We spoke with Joe, who was very nice and helpful. He offered us coffee (Chemex!) answered questions and gave us some background info on the new place. 90% of the merchandise found here is made in America. Cool huh? It’s nice that the owner takes time and makes an effort to find clothing and accessories that are made here in the USA. And from what I saw, everything looked to be good quality stuff.
The next time you’re in OTR, you should stop in and check this place out. Ladies, your man needs a new shirt right?
