All of the staff members were incredibly nice and happy to be working there. Megan was especially helpful in answering any and all questions and even helped pick out the best frames for me. The prices were pretty unbeatable(69.95 for two pairs of glasses with a free exam). They offered a pretty wide selection of frames at a low price. The entire experience was a breath of fresh air as every single person from receptionist, associates, and the doctor were all super happy and patient with any questions I had. I would definitely recommend going there to anyone in need of affordable glasses or contacts.

I live a good distance from this location, and I have to say it is worth the trip(26 miles) to see Lucy and her friendly staff. They always great me with a smile, even opening the door for me, and the assistant manager is so perky and friendly you Cant help but leave that store happy. The receptionist, Reva, is the sweetest lady I’ve every meet and the doctor is wonderful. I’ve never had a bad experience with my glasses, and they are so much less expensive than the mall stores. My insurance isn’t accepted there, but I just turn in my receipt and get reimbursed, so that’s not a bother. The doctor is knowledgeable and kind, he always takes the time to explain what he saw with my eyes, and being a diabetic, that’s very important to me. I really enjoy working with America’s best in eastgate and recommend it to all my friends, even if it’s a good distance away, I know they always take great care of me and my kids!

I had been balking about trying out their 69.99 two glasses deal, thinking that there was no way I was going to get anything of quality for 70 bucks. I am pleased to say that I was wrong. They were able to set an appointment the same day I asked. Today was one of those days where I was very high-energy, probably bordered on obnoxious(who me? never!). They tolerated me QUITE well and maintained their professionalism at all times. The exam was quick and the optometrist was very nice. Here is one of the kickers… she told me I really didn’t NEED glasses. I cannot express how much I respect and appreciate any business that will be honest enough to tell you that you really don’t need their services. Just wow. The bottom line is that I have one very weak eye and one very strong eye. It’s been that way my entire life and prescriptions really don’t help that except for night time driving. However, I had noticed that reading was becoming increasingly difficult. They told me that simple readers would suffice for computer and reading work. So, I could either just pay for the eye exam or get the 2 for deal for night time driving/distance use(that deal includes a free eye exam). That is what I chose to do. Going into the other room and looking at glasses, I knew they were going to try to up-sell me on anti-glare and thinner glasses, etc. It’s part of their job. They did try to up-sell me but when I explained that I was ‘financially-challenged’ they didn’t push, nor did the level of service change when they realized that I was only going for the bare-bones package. Once again, much respect. I HATE going to Valvoline for this EXACT reason. I hate feeling like a bad guy just because I only want what I came for. The glasses selection for the 2/69.99 deal was CUTE. Not only were there many options to choose from but they had wide-frame glasses which have always been hard to find in economy selections. The only bad part(and it’s really not that bad) is that there is an 8 – 10 day wait time to get the glasses. I don’t know if they have emergent or rapid service available, I didn’t ask. I haven’t gotten my glasses yet, but when I do, I will update my review. At this point, I would not hesitate to suggest this business to my friends/family, nor will I hesitate to go back again.
