Allison has been giving me a cut and color for 5+ years now. She’s does a great job, as do the rest of the ladies in the salon. I love how things are just a little bit different each time I go in, the cutting stations are mobile so they can mix it up. Everyone is super nice. The receptionist will offer you water, coffee or tea which is a nice touch. They just switched up their products from Paul Mitchell to a new brand, I forget what it is. But I love the products that I use!

We just moved back to Pleasant Ridge and I went to see Karla for the first time today. I am SO happy with the way my hair turned out!!! She really listened to what I wanted. I will definitely be going back! Had some great conversation, too!

Julie is a wonderful stylist who knows what to do with my boofy/curly-ish/dyed head of hair. The products are extremely fancy and lucious. I always leave feeling like a million bucks. It has good energy and welcoming atmosphere.

I have been wanting to go back blonde ever since i got engaged last month. So i did some asking around and my wedding planned referred me to A Salon Named Desire. The person that did my hair was named Maria Grammas. I am so pleased. She did an amazing job. She was very Friendly and understood what i wanted. I will be continuing getting my hair done at this salon and by Maria. :)

While I don’t go here anymore since moving to Northern Kentucky, A Salon Named Desire did a great job with my crazy hair over the years. Maria was my stylist, and she is a lovely person in addition to being a great stylist. She works with short hair, wavy hair, and growing-out hair, which I had all of the above at one point. They are a «green» salon, which I’m not sure what that means outside of using Paul Mitchell products, but it sounds nice and smells amazing, and their second-floor space feels tres exclusive and chic, tucked away above Montgomery Road in PRidge. The only downsides are that sometimes parking can be a bitch, and it can be pricey, but if you frequent any other salon then this is unsurprising. ASND is a great little independent salon, and well worth the cost for great style.

After my first bad haircut ever in my life in March 2009, I tried ASND at the recommendation of a friend. I’ve been going to Allison ever since and(even though I only go 2 – 3 times a year) look forward to it everytime. Every person at the salon is super friendly and helpful. Allison is wonderful at remembering the things we talked about almost 6 months prior and she just does wonderful things to my hair. My hair is pretty wavy and I feel more comfortable wearing it that way ever since she gave me some helpful hints on how to get it to look nice. It’s definitely worth the money(and I used to be a faithful Great Clips client).

I’ve been going to Karla for years. She always does an amazing job. She knows I like my hair longer, but I need something with minimal maintenance. She listens to her clients and offers exactly what they want. She isn’t cheap, but it is worth every penny. It is also worth noting that they are an eco-friendly salon and it is a beautiful space.
