I am always welcomed with a warm friendly greeting ! Very clean salon, they provide coffee and tea while you wait. I have very straight hair and it can never hold a curl, but Maria somehow manages to make my curls last all day and night ! Maria does and amazing job with my curls, hair cuts, with color, high lights, and waxing ! Love the friendly staff, will defiantly be coming back.

First timer and I was pleasantly satisfied. I came in for a haircut and shampoo and it totaled to $ 30. The lady did a good job making sure I was comfortable during the shampooing process and achieved the haircut I was looking to get. She accommodated my walk in appointment within 15−20mins which was fair. I’m looking forward to get my hair colored or glossed the next time I come in. Would definitely recommend!

Came here today to get my hair done for my brothers wedding and had an appointment with Marylou and OMG I absolutely love her! So much so that in writing this before the wedding starts haha that’s how good she is!
I came here based on the reviews from Unilocal nervous because I know UpDos a lot of stylist don’t like to do, but right when I got in her chair she said they were her favorite
She was so sweet and nice and so easy to talk to! I probably annoyed her with all my chatting
I showed her a photo of what I wanted I showed her 3 actually and kind of just focused on the last two photos because I knew the first one was more tricky to do, but nope she saw the first and she said she could do it and she did
She absolutely rocked! Any time I need an up do or any kind of do I will be coming to see her and will definitely recommending this salon to anyone I know!

5 stars for Lily!!! Worlds greatest nail tech! She is super creative and does a very nice job. My nails always look perfect when I leave. They last a good 3 weeks. Her pedicures are amazing too. You just can’t go wrong with Lily.

First time here to get my daughter’s hair done and love it! She had her hair dyed before from a different salon and it totally messed up her hair. We saw Isaac and he did a wonderful job! He cut, did a treatment and an ombré on her hair and it looks amazing! Defiantly coming back!

I get everything done here. It’s my local spot and the ladies are absolutely wonderful! Maria, Esmeralda and Vivian have always made me feel super welcome and give the best customer service.

Walked in yesterday and Sheila was able to take me right away. I got a haircut and partial highlights and she did an excellent job! I was very pleased with the results and the service I received.

Esmeralda has been cutting my hair since I was 16. I’m 23 now. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair because she seems to have a special gift for knowing exactly what I like, ever since Day 1. All the women are very nice and comfortable to be around, and the shop is cozy. They have hooks to hang up your purses and I’ve always had positive experiences with this salon.

I came in as a walk in on a friday afternoon. The salon was busy but they took me within 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly, my stylist even made me a cup of coffee. Rosa did a great job on my color and cut. It was exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this salon.

I nearly swooned after my first visit. I have four kids and it’s impossible to find someone that they all like. They all loved Elena! She is a definite keeper. My boys18 & 20 are the pickiest and both came out smiling. I have a girl with curly hair, it’s very hard to find someone that cuts curly hair properly. She also came out smiling. My youngest and myself also were very satisfied with our results. Now we just need to convince my hubby to get his haircut here and the whole fam will be hooked up :)

I stumbled across this place this week while looking for a manicurist. It’s exactly what I was looking for. They have two manicurists and offer a full menu for nails and pedicures. I like that there isn’t a waiting area full of walk-​ins and I get the full service and attention I’m paying for. I’m so happy to find this place.

This place is great. Norma is great with color and haircut. I have so much faith in her that at times I leave the color and cut up to her. She has never gone wrong. I also like that after every haircut my hair is styled.
Everyone at salon is super nice and friendly. If you are ever in the area and need a haircut this is the place to go. I drive all the way from the college area just to get my hair done.

This place a small wonderful gem! Norma always does a remarkable job with my hair cut and color. She’s always open to doing something fun and fresh. She also does my mother in law hair and is more the whiling to do conservative hear cuts as well. I just happen to enjoy color! She also does a wonderful job with my sons hair, he won’t go anywhere else. WE DRIVE FROM RANCHO BERNARDO to come to Studio MG! We have also had put hair cut and styled by Malu, who is always smiling and ready to help.
The salon us small and honey. Everyone is nice there, what I like best is that it is privately owned. Not some chain place like hair masters. Yuck! They also have a mail person there.
Only thing I would change is the chair I has my haircut in last time I was in… It’s broken. Kept veering to the left and sinking. Norma kept having to adjust the chair during the haircut. Perhaps the owner could fix or replace it? Or at the very least trade it with another stations chair, I mean Norma’s station is right in front, why would you want customers to see her chair isn’t working?
Over all, a 5 star place to go!

I don’t even rate this business! It gets a 0! They were rude, unprofessional, and couldn’t even give me what I asked for. I didn’t learn my lesson the first time and decided to go back a second. They turned my hair pink! And right before my wedding! Spent too much on the hair color and cut for such a bad job. Don’t go here! Save your money and go elsewhere!

Whenever I walk into this place they’re never able to get to me within an hour. Not because they’re so busy, but because it’s so small. They’re also closed on Sundays, really? I’m surprised they’re still open for business. Terrible.

This one is for Elena. I work for a new business in the area and was looking for a colorist for color and highlights after doing it myself for years.
Well Elena was just the ticket. She was awesome. We decided on a color quickly and my color and highlights look wonderful. And the price was right. I will definitely go back. Great job Elena!

I moved to this salon ever since my stylist Elena started working here about a year and a half ago. It is definitely a step up from Hairmasters. Not just Elena but the other stylists are nice and helpful.
They really go out of their way to make the customer feel comfortable. They have a big screen television and they always have some sort of game on. They also provide you with coffee and tea while you wait.
This is a great place that really knows how to take care of its customers. I highly recommend them.

TERRIBLE! i went for the first time to get a haircut. I had Maria and she was unfriendly and accusatory, and hardly said two words to me. She was more interested in talking to her coworker about what she wanted to get her for lunch than what she was doing to my hair.
I brought in a picture of the hairstyle that i wanted. it ended up looking nothing like the picture, and when i asked her to fix my bangs to look more like the ones in the picture she told me my picture blew away. and then when i left she actually HANDED me the picture that had supposedly blown away. It had actually blown about six inches over from where she set it down, still completely visible.
the layers and bangs were crooked, and when i asked for the bottom to be tapered she asked me what it meant, and after explaining it to her she said okay. And then did not do it.
i also do not dye my hair and it is naturally a reddish color, and more red towards the front. she asked if i colored my hair and i told her i did not. and she responded with, not even to the front? and i told her i do nothing to change the color of my hair. and she responded with, you must do something. and i left it at that. because there was obviously no convincing her otherwise.
i had a 12:00 appointment and had to wait to be seated for 15 minutes, which normally is not a big deal for me, however along with all the other negative it just adds to the list.
Overall, it was a terrible experience.

Just moved to this Salon since my stylist Norma Cisneros came here. The salon is very clean, the staff is very nice and friendly and fun to talk to :)
Tom did my nails and did a beautiful job.
MaryLou waxed my eyebrows and did a good job cleaning them up.
It’s nice to go to a salon that does all in one rather than go to 2 – 3 salons to get everything done.
I definitely would recommend this place, specially Norma or MaryLou for your hair :)
The salon is a bit pricier than the salon I used to go to but that isn’t discouraging me from coming back.
