Established in 2004.

We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-​loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Eric Eusebio, DMD E.

Business Owner

Dr. Eric John Eusebio graduated from Centro Escolar University. He attended Loma Linda University for his pre-​clinical and clinical studies. He received aesthetics training at UCLA. He also received extensive training from the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry. The Las Vegas Institute is the premier cosmetic institute in the world with regards to cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry. Dr. Eusebio also served active duty military for six years and currently completes over 100 hours of continuing education training per year.

Dr. Eusebio believes in giving back to the community. As past president of the Association of Filipino Dentists San Diego County, he helped raise thousands of dollars for charitable foundations such as Thousand Smiles and the Child Watch Foundation, which is dedicated to providing assistance to needy children.

A couple of weeks ago I went into this office. At another dental office I was told I need a crown, so went here to get a second opinion. The overall customer service was just ok even the doctor was just ok. I have two big issues, a crown that’s falling off and a huge hole on back tooth. The dentist told he needed to get a crown on another tooth which does not have a hole or bothers me at all. He insisted it was priority. When I kept insisting that that tooth did not hurt, the other two did, then he asked me «ok what do you want done?» He said I needed crowns for the other two teeth and was quoted double the price of my previous dental office. I will not come back.

One thing that I want people to know about Smiles of Eastlake is that Dr. Eusebio truly knows what he is doing. He is very skillful and intelligent in respect to dentistry. Every complex dental procedure that Dr. Eusebio performed on me worked out the first time around whether dealing with cosmetics or underlying pain. Yuri and Carla both provided gentle treatment and made the experience wonderful. The office manager named Denise is very knowledgeable and professional.

Awesome Dentist! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work. The facility is clean and professional, the staff is welcoming and pay attention to your needs. Dr. Eusebio is great. He’s gentle and patience. He genuinely cares for you and the work he does. I am so happy I found them. I have a dentist for life now.

I went to Smiles of Eastlake because it was closer to my house than my dentits in Mission Valley. The sole purpose of going there was to have my silver fillings removed as they are dangerous. Dr. Eusubio removed a lfilling on my top right molar and i immediately began having trouble with that tooth. When I went back in, he told me that he had been watching that tooth and that I needed a root canal. Ladies just know that root canals are dangerous and caue breast cancer on the side that the root canal is performed on. Th pain got so bad taht I was on pain medication for the entire weekend unable to sleep because of the pain. At the last minute I decided that I needed to go back to my regular dentist in Mission Vallay as I was contemplating have the tooth removed. My dentist looked at the took and noticed that Dr. Eusubio had not filled the tooth properly and had actually left part of the silver filling underneath the replacement filling. This happened because I insisted that Dr. Eusubio use a dental dam on me which keeps bacteria from spreading to the other teeth while he’s doing the filing. If the dam isn’t placed on the tooth properly, the new filling will not be place correctly and leave the nerve exposed. This is exactly what happened to me. I’m so mad that he tried pushing a root canal on me when he’s the one who screwed my tooth up in the first place. ladies please do your research on deadly root canals. The Toxic Tooth is a great book available on amazon and is written by a dentist. Root canals are big business for dentist but no one should be getting them.

Again… Dental heaven.
Going in my anxiety level was 0.
Yuri was fast and gentle.
I highly recommend this dental office. ALL employees are friendly and professional. They clearly take care of business and know how to work a scheduling book. As I experienced a very short wait time at each of my three visits.
My daughter came with me for a cleaning and really loved her hygienist as well. Sorry I don’t know her name.

Thanks for being so accommodating. I thought I had broke a tooth and needed a cap at a minimum. He said that it was only a filling and after my insurance it was only $ 40 to get it it fixed and he did it that same day. Also from the shot to the end I felt No pain… what a relief in every facet.

I was very scared to go to a dentist but they gave me the confidence that i needed to see a dentist. Their staff were very nice and provided me with all the information that i needed regarding my oral health! The Exam/​Cleaning was Free! Not to mention that they are very helpful in creating ways to help you get your teeth fixed and work with your budget! I will be going here more often!

They have the best customer service and very reasonable price. They don’t let you wait at the waiting room for more than 5 minutes. One time I max out on my insurance and i was in excruciating pain and needed my tooth extracted badly, they worked on my budget instead of waiting till my insurance restarted. They have the best people that would make u feel comfortable so u can tell them everything like ur budget, ur sched etc. I’m so glad i’m with them.

I’ve been here a few times now. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. They have outlined a plan for my dental care and have been great as time has progressed. I’m actually looking forward to my dental visits which is almost impossible for me. I typically do not like dental visits.

BEWARE of this dentist. I wouldn’t be suprised if some of the employees wrote reviews in order to inflate their reviews.
1. I had no cavity or no signs and symptoms that pointed to cavities. After going in (for the first time) for a cleaning Dr Eusebio came in and said I had a cavity and needed a filling. Not knowing better I went ahead and got the feeling. After the filling procedure I felt excruciating pain, and sensitivity to cold and heat for 3 weeks. Every time I went back within the 3 weeks to complain about the pain and sensitivity, I was told that it was normal. I consulted and outside dentist and was told that «It’s not normal to feel such discomfort for more that long!» I finally went back to the Dr Eusebio office after the 3 weeks and he was on vacation. Another dentist (can’t remember his name) examined my tooth and discovered that Dr Eusebio put TOO MUCH filling into my tooth and the filling was touching my nerve. The Dentist went on to explain that the reason why I was feeling the discomfort was because the filling material hit my nerve, and not I needed a root canal and crown to fix the problem! !!! AS YOU CAM IMAGINE, I WAS PISSED OFF!!! I confronted Dr. Eusebio when he came back from vacation and even though his replacement dentist outed his mistake he still didnt admit his fault, but he did agree to do the root canal and crown for FREE. To make a long story short he didn’t do it for free he charged my insurance company anyway, and during the crown appointment two weeks later he tried to make me pay the co-​pay for the crown. I told him that he said he would do it all for free, but he said he never did that. We went back and fourth for about 5 minutes and finally smiles then said «OK, you don’t have to pay the Co-​pay.
His work is sloppy, and he has no integrity, therefore I beg you to stay away from this office.

This is definitely my favorite dental office I’ve been to. All of the staff members are very friendly and seem to genuinely care about your well-​being and ensuring that you are comfortable during your visit.
The office is very clean, and I like the location because I don’t have to worry about not finding parking. They work well with my Tricare dental insurance, so I am only left with a reasonable co pay for fillings and a crown. Exam/​cleaning was free! Not to mention, my teeth felt cleaner than they have in years after my cleaning! I get anxiety about going to the dentist, but this office has a good vibe to it which helps put me at ease.
Dr. Eusebio is great, as well as the female dentist there. The dentists, hygienists, and assistants know what they are doing, and they do a great job. They make sure you are comfortable and ask often to make sure you are okay. I always enjoy chatting with the receptionist and assistants because they’re super nice! I also like that they take their time instead of rushing to finish to get to the next patient.
I am happy to now have a dentist that I feel comfortable going to and no longer have to fear that I will receive bad dental work or feel pain. I feel confident going to Smiles of Eastlake knowing they will do great work, pain free! :)

I can’t express how amazing my teeth look now and the experience I had.
I decided to get Veneers at the age of 26. My whole life I’ve hated my teeth and have been extremely insecure about them, I had my mind on braces but I had recently had chipped my front tooth and from there knew I needed them done
The dentist and his staff made my experience amazing! They explained the process, payment options, made it all run smooth and most importantly worked around my schedule.
Now let’s talk about the veneers
This dentist knows what he is doing! He makes them look so natural to fit your face.
Even my temps looked great, I received nothing but compliments.
The final veneers came out AMAZING! I’m so in love with them!!! I did ten teeth (top) and have a perfect smile!
So happy! He is now my dentist and I’m so glad I went with him! I will upload a picture of my temps and permanents

I have a huge fear going to the dentist. This place was so nice and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I needed a root canal that I had put on hold due to my fear. Finally, I couldn’t take the pain and called to make an appointment. The woman at the front desk knew how much pain I was in and told me if I could né there in 15 minutes they would do the procedure that day. Well, here I am 1 hour 45 min after I made that phone call and completely done with my root canal sitting at the store to get my prescription. I totally recommend this place! I am so glad I found them

The dentist here was amazing! She understood how scared I was and did everything she could to make me feel at ease. As transitioning out the military my tricare dental insurance was iffy and did not go through as expected but the woman behind the desk took the time in trying to call and see if she could help sort out the situation. They really made me feel comfortable and for once I’m looking forward to future appointments. Thank you ladies!

They were absolutely great with billing my insurance (military dependent tricare).
They push hard for deep cleaning, which they all do and instead of a filling they push for a crown.
I was first appt of they day 8am and I noticed 3 of the ladies that work there take up the front door spots instead of leaving them for customers. I consider that a rude practice and think they should save those for customers.
I arrived for a crown they drilled and prepared but I was not told I would have to schedule another appt for the actual crown. I had to wear a temporary filling for two weeks. They seem to lack communication The dentist started shoving this bit guard thing in my mouth but didn’t tell me first that he was gonna do it. Dentist in the last tell me as they go what they are doing.
Over all the work was great no insurance surprises on billing

It’s probably a safe bet to say that most people don’t like to go to the dentist, but if you want to keep yourself healthy, and your teeth pristine, it’s something that must be done. I’ll admit to a rather long lapse in my dental upkeep, but when agonizing tooth pain finally forced a search for a new dentist, I discovered Smiles of Eastlake via the reviews here on Unilocal.
After my first visit, I knew I had made a great choice. A rather large handful of visits later, and I am completely certain that you’d be hard pressed to find a better dental practice in San Diego. The staff at Smiles of Eastlake really cares about you. Denisse and Merilyn at the front desk are extremely genuine — polite, funny, and always showing off their gorgeous smiles. The lobby is modern and relaxing (there are televisions to keep you entertained, and bottled water to keep you hydrated — though, I have never been made to wait longer than 5 minutes or so). Scheduling is easy — confirmations can be handled online (a total plus for me).
All of the dental techs and hygienists are friendly, considerate, gentle, and informative. It’s certainly nice to know the what and why’s of every procedure, and to leave feeling informed about your health.
As for Dr. Eusebio himself, he’s great! He will make you feel at ease about any procedure, and ensure that the experience is completely pain free. I’ve never felt like I am being upsold unnecessary products or procedures, but given an honest diagnosis, and informed of the ways that the team can help me whilst working with my schedule and budget.
In short, great office, great staff, great dentist. I will definitely be back.
