I went in tried on some glasses. The gal there seemed less than interested in helping me. I picked 2 frames, 1 progressive, 1 sunglasses. She said they would be ready in a 1 to 10 days. They would call when they came in. It had been over 10 days went in. I asked why didn’t someone call me. They had my home phone and my cell, which both have answering devices. This other gal w/blue framed glasses was helping me now. She tells me they called me. I said no way. She argued w/me. I couldn’t believe it!!! Then my husband just ordered glasses from there, same thing. It had been 10 days, he stopped by, asked why didn’t anyone call him. There again, they said they did call. No message or home machine, no message on cell. Unbelievable! Never again! Totally lacking in customer service. Think twice before you use them. very disappointed.

I got a pair of glasses at the Rancho Bernardo optical store. Paid full retail(by the way you can get the exact frame online for $ 100 cheaper) they broke in 2 days, brought them in for repairs and upon picking them up had issues. First they opened the doors 10 min late after lunch, the lady Anna was in there ignoring us waiting outside. There were 3 people working there but only took us back one at a time. They seized up again when finally it was my turn & I tried them on. Some older lady took them and sprayed them with what smelled like WD40 and gave them to me without wiping them off. I am sure they wil break again so asked Anna for a frame refund to cut my loss. I realize I need to pay for the lens. She rudely said no, and wouldn’t listen to me. Almost laughed at me. I am so frustrated to be out $ 500, have crappy glasses, and been treated so disrespectfully.

About a 6 weeks ago, I visited this optical shop and picked out a new pair of frames, second pair of sunglasses, and new prescription lenses for both. Ana, one of the opticians was great, helped me with everything, and made me feel comfortable and secure. That is where my pleasure in this experience ended. Three weeks go by, and I still have no glasses, so I called and I was told that my glasses were ready… why didn’t they call me??? Then I was told I needed an appointment to pick up my glasses, which wouldn’t be available for another week and a half! To my dismay, I waited. When I came to pick up my glasses, I dropped of another pair of frames to get new lenses placed. I was told this would take about a week. Additionally, the new glasses that I picked up have a HUGE scratch in them that I didn’t notice at the time I picked them up. Now I have no glasses, so I had to keep these until my old glasses were finished. Two weeks later… still no call, so I called them. My glasses were ready??? Now, I’m annoyed. I thankfully got an appointment the next day(today). Today, I went to pick up my old frames with new lenses and they are horrible! The lenses bulged out of the front of the frame and look ridiculous! No I have new glasses with a huge scratch in them and my old glasses with goofy looking lenses… UNACCEPTABLE! Say what you want about LensCrafters, but they get it right in an hour, and these incompetent people can’t get it right in over a month. I had to send back my stupid looking glasses to be Re-done and am still wearing my new glasses with a scratch. I would give this establishment ZERO stars if I could. I have thus far spent about $ 900 on this ordeal, still have no glasses, and I wish I never went there and I want my money back!
