Best urgent care I’ve ever been too! Everyone is super nice & attentive. Was seen by the dr & had a breathing treatment all within ½ hour. Super fast! Best feeling to know you’re in good hands. Thank you! :)

If I were able to give negative stars I would! I went in for a urine screening for pre employment in the afternoon. Let’s say 12:50pm. The nurse explained the wait would be between 30min to an hour max. I didn’t mind. After explaining I wasn’t allowed to use the restroom, I waited patiently. It wasn’t until it was about 2pm where I started to get impatient because I needed to use the restroom. I politely asked the nurse how much longer it would be because I started to notice the patients that checked in AFTER me were being called. She smirked back and said «there’s still two people ahead of you». I eventually gave up and went down stairs to use restroom before I honestly would have an accident. After returning to the office I hear my name being called, and I see another person respond and follow the nurse into the back to start the screening. I tried to chase after them but the door had been closed. I explained to the nurse that someone else had responded to my name being called and she lied by saying «that’s not true, I still see your paper work right here». Okay, I thought maybe I’m going crazy. But 30 MINUTES LATER. The girl that responded came back out to tell the nurse she made a mistake and thought she heard her name. I lost it by this time! THIS PLACE IS SO UN ORGANIZED AND THEY WILL LIE TO YOU TO COVER THEIR ASS. They didn’t even apologize for the confusion! Their only response was «she did have a similar name you» HELLO! ASK FOR AN ID!!! SO UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I can’t say enough good things about this urgent care. Every person I come across is super nice. From the people at the desk to the nurses to the doctors. Every time! They show nothing but care and concern and I love coming here when my family or I feel sick. And no kidding I’m ALWAYS in and out in 35 mins. I highly recommend this place when you need urgent care.

Nice staff! Farisha was a sweet heart, place was packed and she nicely told me that there was a two hour waiting time. Nurses specially Shelyn were very nice and treated me and my daughter like real people, very human atmosphere and I’m thankful to Doctor Chhieng, he was awsome!

I had no idea how good I had it with sharp before I had to switch to Kaiser. The staff here are attentive and helpful and always ready to make you the most comfortable, the longest I have ever had to wait is an hour, and the doctors spend all the time they need with you to educate and treat you. I’ve had better care here than my normal doctors appointments.
I wish I had never switched!!! Sharp please take me back!!!

First time here and was pretty impressed. I needed to be seen by a doctor for a quick check and so I came here first thing in the morning. No line and I was the first one there. The lady at the counter was super nice. I was called in before I even sat down. Went to the room and the dr came in before the nurse was done asking me the normal questions. I was their a total of 20 mins. I even got a message in follow my health that night asking how I was feeling. Pretty impressed and very satisfied!!!

Dr. Richard Clark is probably the best doctor I’ve ever been to. Too bad he’s an ear, nose & throat specialist, and not a family medicine doctor, or I’d switch to him in a heartbeat!
From the moment he entered the room, he knew all about my medical history and my concerns. He had studied up before my appointment and knew what course of action he was going to take.
He has great people skills and really engages the patient, explains things in terms patients can understand and takes their concerns seriously. He listened thoroughly to my concerns and assured me we had time to talk and not to feel rushed.
Most importantly, he seemed genuinely concerned about my ongoing medical issue, and urged me to keep pursuing answers, and not to let other doctors make me feel like I was imagining things. He ordered appropriate tests and even set up a follow up appointment to see how my progress was going.
I only wish all Sharp doctors could be like him!

Wow! I’m first in line to check in. The lady takes her time with paperwork before she calls me up to check in. So I finally start the check in process. she is so slow that another employee literally shows up after and he starts checking in the people that were behind me. By the time she finished checking me in he already checked in two patients. So I went from being first in line to literally last! Thanks wilfa!

3 hrs and nothing evn thought they are trying to look profesional and attentive ita a really bad place to go definitely last time here, 3 hrs and all ive got its blood pressure and temperature then this doctor keeps opening the door and says uups wrong room again.

They are the best! ! They take care of you, all the staff is super nice. They explain things to you and just showed that they cared!

This is my go to urgent care. I used to have sharp medical group and I was not satisfied with the care that I was getting from the nurse practitioner or partners urgent care.
Anyways! Came here because I got a dog bite and the receptionist that helped me was soooooooo sweet and kind! I did not wait too long to get called in either, the RN Abigail and another nurse I forgot her name. Are always so nice. You can tell that they love helping people as for the Doctors also.
This is where you should be treated!!!

I have several things to say about SR-​SCV:
Relative to the situations that I am in (i.e. scheduled doctor visit, urgent care visit), the wait times are acceptable. Yeah, I’ve had to wait for over an hour sometimes, but then again, I don’t have an appointment and there are numerous people around me coughing, wearing masks, and most likely like myself – without an appointment. For my scheduled doctor visits, I’ve been called in fairly quickly. I think that you have to come in with reasonable expectations. I mean, if you’re in UC, you better be prepared for the worst and not expect to be seen right away!
I have had both Dr. Montoya and Dr. Rowell as my PCP and I cannot say enough great things about them. The only reason I have for changing from Dr. Montoya to Rowell has nothing to do with Dr. Montoya himself; it was a personal choice… both are amazing! Both seem to really listen and are very engaging.
So I have been to this urgent care numerous times for my clumsiness, weak lungs, susceptibility to cold/​flu/​bronchitis/​U-​name-​it and I have been treated with the utmost empathy and kindness. I’ve seen Dr. Blake and another UC doctor (30 – 40’s maybe, pretty fit, shaved head). Both doctors were very thorough and I felt confident in their treatment plans.
The reception staff are very efficient and from my observations and experiences, make each person feel they are truly recognized. I’ve waited in almost agony behind people who take a long time through intake, but understand that I’m not the only person who is not feeling well and no one likes to be rushed. I’m glad the people up front take their time and do their best to be quick, yet give great service.
Xray has also been very good on my last 3 visits. Everyone was very nice and took very good care of me… with a smile! They walk me to and from the rooms so that I don’t get lost, as well as make sure your modest despite how invasive these tests are (they are looking at your bones!).
One person I’d like to point out is LVN Dennis Q. for being very conscientious of patients in his care. The last time I was there, I had been waiting for a LONG TIME in the exam room (like almost an hour. after waiting in the waiting room… LOTS of sick people). He popped his head in several times to see if I was okay and if I had been seen yet… then would leave and get an ETA of the doctor to report to me. It made me feel better knowing I wasn’t forgotten behind a closed door and that someone was actually looking after me. Afterwards, he drew my blood and I was impressed (again) as he was a one-​stick-​and-​done kind of lab vampire (sometimes it takes a few pokes to get blood).
In summary, go here. You won’t regret it! This is a very well-​managed clinic with good people. They should all be very proud of themselves and one another.

If you try and make an appointment with them be sure you get a confirmation on everything you do down there things get twisted pharmacy slow and the phone answering service doesn’t take messages right

One busy clinic. The receptionists, nurses and doctors are all trying to keep this clinic running like clock work. Despite being busy and looking stressed, they maintain their coolness and professionalism.
If you want immediate attention from a doctor don’t come to this place and go see your primary doctor.
I will give this place five star for what the staff put up on a daily basis.

Got in and out of urgent care quickly. Service at pharmacy was horrible! When I checked in I simply asked about how long the wait would be. The lady rolled her eyes and said about 30 minutes. 50 minutes later I checked in and my order was finally ready. No one called my name. The entire time I was waiting the pharmacist and two other workers were yucking it up. Loud, obnoxious, clearly not focussing on their jobs. Wonder how many times people have gotten the wrong medication with these morons. They acted as if they were doing me a favor by doing their jobs.
I only went here because it was attached to urgent care. I could have gone to CVS and been home in the time it took.
This facility is filthy. Stained carpets. Chairs in waiting area were sticky. Going home to take a shower. More from the nastiness of the facility than the germs of other people.

I just called them to see if they could see my son, but they said if my son wasnt see one of their Sharp doctors then no… So, I asked if they could tell me which Urgent Care Facility I could go to in Chula Vista, and they hung up on me… Wonderful Service! *Can you hear my bitter sarcasm, as my son lays in the other room coughing is poor head off and people who are suppose to care and help those who are sick dont give a … *

5 stars solely for the ladies at the Urgent Care desk. GIVE THESE WOMEN A RAISE! I deal with businesses, business owners, doctors, etc daily, for a living, & they give the absolute best service I have ever experienced.
I recently came in for getting the nasty flu going around. I refrain from ever going to the doctor unless I am in dire need. Not a fan of co-​pays & being charged for things I dont really need (like crutches I assumed were covered by my ins and was not informed of otherwise– I had some at home I could have used)
Despite all this, I felt like I was dying. Of course I wasn’t but, just the check in process was so reassuring & relaxing in a way. Almost forgot I was sick! They are funny, charismatic, and just so pleasant to deal with. I wish I remembered names in case they’re not always the same! Hope they see this & remember me so they know I’m talking about them. Small talk relating to patients can go a long way when you’re feeling under the weather.
The 2 hour wait ended up a little over an hour. The Dr saw me in an office, not an exam room, but I actually appreciated this since it gave them more rooms to work with. Downstairs had gotten flooded so they were limited as it was.
I didnt spend that much time with the Dr but I just needed to know I wasn’t dying, which he confirmed & was right. I’m still here! He gave me some codeine & recommended a homepathic medicine to lessen my symptoms.
Getting me to go to the Dr is the hardest thing but I feel they gave me a reason to come back. These ladies made my time here enjoyable. Thanks!

Overall a good place. This is mostly (or only?) For injuries that happened at work. So I’ve been here through my same employer twice already, once 3 years ago and once last week. They really try to get you in and out quickly and all the employees seem very nice. I went in last week to urgent care and was out in about an hour. Then I went in for my follow up last week and that also was in and out. My medicine from the pharmacy downstairs is the only part that took long, but overall it was still quick.

Getting my lab results, I actually like getting a check up, what I don’t like is the wait time, they tend to take quite a while to call u even after u made an appointment :-| thus is not my fav. spent time.

The customer service in occ med is ridiculous. Every time I’ve been here for my work related injury the receptionist women are always talking amongst themselves and totally ignore me as I stand there waiting for one of them to acknowledge me. But of course I have to wait until they’re done yapping. Their customer service skills suck!
However the nurses and doctors are very courteous and attentive once I get past the gaggle of women at the reception desk.
