Dr. Shachar attended UCLA, majoring in Microbiology and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1987.
She attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas and graduated in the top 10% of her class in 1991
She did her residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA/San Fernando Valley from 1991 – 1994
She has been in practice in Chula Vista since 1994
