Abel was always on time (early actually), efficient and all cleared up. Appreciate his professionalism and thoroughness. Only got 4 stars because it was a little more expensive than I hoped but can’t beat quality service.

Red Maple Tree Services did an outstanding job with a real reasonable price for all the work they completed for me. They trimmed and beautified my Melueca Trees. The Sawyer was non stop sawing and trimming. Real professional and beautiful work. Abel and his crew were able to get another job from my neighbor. My neighbor had a pine tree in his backyard trimmed and beautified. The crew was prompt and did a real clean job. They had a chipper in the front of my house and chipped all the branches and hauled all the trash away. Left my back yard clean of any mess from the job. THANK YOU ABEL.

Able was my point of contact who answered the phone. We made an appt for next day to get a quote to remove the front yard tree, and he called me back later to try and come the day I called. I liked the effort to see me asap. Quote wad $ 375 with stump grinding. Appt was made for 2 days later and they were pretty much on time.
Tree was chainsawed quickly by 2 guys. Then Able showed up with the grinder. They went almost 18 inches deep on the grind, and I did not expect that depth. They filled the whole with the wood grinds, swept up their mess quite well and I paid by credit card. No contract signed or presented, nor emails. Just quick, good service and a swipe of the card. Nothing negative to say about them. Yard looks like it never had a tree. I recommend them.

One of best overall service I’ve experience in a long time. Best overall quote from multiple Unilocal reputable companies I requested an estimate from. (40ft Pine tree removal with stump grinding). Abel and his team were awesome and professional. Promise to start work at 0730, they arrived 0715 on the day promised and were in the tree cutting by 0730. I observed them work at the beginning since the tree was between multiple properties and they made it look easy. Hard working individuals who skills surpassed my expectations. Very happy I found Red Maple Tree Service. Abel and his team were professional and worked efficiently. Was pleased how quickly they trimmed up a good sized tree in my backyard and removed a stump and smaller tree in the front. Red Maple Tree Service came on time as promised. They diligently trimmed four of our palm trees and finished in less than an hour! I was expecting more like 2 hours. Their ability to finish in such a fast pace stems from their teamwork as spearheaded by the owner (Abel). I would also like to thank Abel for being sensitive on my requests for which fronds to cut down in the 3 smaller palm trees in our backyard. After they were done, they cleaned up the debris from the tree trimmings. Not only they deliver their services in such a high quality, the prices are also reasonable. I highly recommend Abel and his team!

Abel was responsive and timely and did a fantastic job on our trees. We have a coral tree that needed to be trimmed and also a few cypress trees. Abel’s crew were very attentive to making sure things were cleaned up and done right. Highly recommended!

These guys are great. They took out a 50 foot Eucalyptus with twin sisters on one of the hotest days in San Diego. The price was fair and the workers were very professional. I recommend this service to anyone who needs trees or shrub brush removed.

I had 2 tree co. give me estimates to cut my ficus tree down to gutter height so I could trim it myself in the future. The 1^st co. gave me an estimate of $ 250 to cut it down to the gutter and trim some small hedges. I then had Abel give me an estimate for the same job. He was told I wanted it cut down to the gutter and with the small hedges he would charge $ 220. He was on time and friendly so I hired him, BIG MISTAKE! He only did a very light trimming on the edge. When I said you didn’t cut it down to my gutter and make it small as I had hired him to do he had 2 excuses: 1. It will look ugly, 2. It will only grow faster the more you cut it. I paid him which I now regret. After asking him to come back and do the job right he said it would cost another $ 125. The pictures of my tree are before and 2 mo. after, no change! Do not trust this guy, I got ripped off of $ 220 and still have to hire someone to cut my tree and hedges again!

So I used this service for the first time on May 5^th. They gave me the best rate of the three companies I called. They came out the same day and gave me an estimate. Once I accepted their offer they came out a couple days later to do the job. The ONLY negative and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because they were late and didn’t call me. Sorry that is a pet peeve of mine. I like punctuality. My appointment was at 1 PM and I finally called him at 2 PM and asked where they were, because they were over an hour late. The gentleman told me that he was sorry and he was very apologetic but he was tied up on another job site and I guess he lost track of time. So instead they came out at 4 PM. Which was three hours past my regular appointment time and it kind of threw off the rest of my day. I really needed my palm trees trimmed because those big round seeds that fall from the tree are always cluttering up my driveway and I was sick of it. So I agreed to the time.
He came out at 4 o’clock with two other people (sorry I can’t remember their names, I think Abel is the owner). He went right to work and trimmed three of my palm trees. They did an outstanding job. They even cleaned up all the mess and climb the roof of the neighbor with her permission of course and blew off the dust that got on her house.
I was really impressed with their work and the quickness they got it done. Their work alone is worthy of five stars. I will use them again when those seeds grow back in nine months to a year. I highly recommend them.

In a world that seems to have lost the concept of great customer service… Abel and his crew have renewed my belief that it does, in fact, still exist! When I called Abel to tackle the project of removing six trees (three of them being pines, approximately 40 – 50 ft tall), two additional pines about 20 – 30 ft, another 15 ft tree, the grinding of all six stumps, an additional three other stumps from previous trees and a cypress hedge about 25 ft long, they completed the task on time at the right cost, with exceptional professionalism! Trust me… This should be your only choice for your tree care needs!

We called them for an estimate after reading everyone’s positive stories and 5 star reviews. My call was returned promptly and a site meeting was scheduled quickly thereafter.
Their estimate was very competitive; therefore, we decided to hire them. The crew arrived & proceeded with the job in a safe and tidy manner. Every step of the way, over the course of 3 days, starting near the top of the tree to finally grinding the stump and removal, and yard cleanup — the job was done skilfully & professionally.
We would not hesitate to use their services again and would highly recommend them.

It truly doesn’t get much better than Abel and his team at Red Maple. Abel is extremely prompt and professional and he and his team removed 2 large trees and multiple shrubs quickly and left the area SO clean — as if there was never trees or shrubs there in the first place.

Able is a great guy. He showed up this morning after giving me the best quote by far last week to shave and trim my huge Mexican Fan Palm. They even showed up 15 minutes early which is great. My palm trees in my front yard were getting pretty gnarly… they needed a good trim so I called Abel. He was completely flexible in getting me an estimate and was able to work around my schedule when it came down to getting the work done. On the morning of, he called when he was on the way. He and another man showed up (didn’t catch his name) and did they got to work right away. They cleaned up & asked me to take a look at the trees once they were finished for the final ok! Great service & friendly people! :) Thank you Abel.

Abel was a top notch person to work with. Called another local tree trimming service just to be given a high price and attitude at the end of it all. Went online and came across Red Maple tree service. Read the reviews and decided to call. Abel answered and with in the hour he came to my house to check the project out. He quoted me $ 75 less than guy earlier that day.
Abel showed up to my house 10 minutes before our appointment the day of his work. He apologized about being alone and that an employee called in sick. He did not want to delay my work so he came to do the work alone. Abel was able to cut down a 30 foot camphor tree and grind the stump as well as grind the stumps of four others in the backyard. He did all this in less than 6 hours of work. Probably could have done it faster if his help with with him that day. Oh and he also cut down a 20 foot tree for my neighbor the same time and did my wife a favor and cut our tree into smaller pieces for firewood. A++ type of guy. If anyone is looking for a hard working professional who is courteous, polite, and friendly and does a great job, call ABLE! You won’t be disappointed. Leaves everything clean as if he hadn’t been there. Our yards look great and now we can start our projects without obstructions :)

O. K…so this review is a bit late but nonetheless, needed to be done.
We had a palm tree about 15 ft tall that was put in probably 10 years ago (?)…not sure exactly because we bought our house in Sept. 2010 and it was already there… very established.
Anyway, the fools who planted it, however many years ago, didn’t have any foresight on «planting distance» from a house! Seeing the situation as it was, I knew it was only a matter of a year or so before this palm was going to take out part of our roof!
I called several companies to get quotes on removing the palm, including boring out the base root and I was surprised with range I got, i.e. from $ 950 to $ 150. I received the usual scare tactics from some and complete apathy from others but the one who stood out the most was these guys!
I received a great quote, was told the job would be done in less than a day, and they could do all of it by working with my work schedule. Not to fail to mention, I didn’t receive any hype and they «listened» to my needs.
I was so impressed with their service I kept their business card for well over a year now, almost two, and just pulled it out from my file for house stuff so I can call them again for another, rather big project for my front yard.

Abel and his crew did an amazing job removing a couple of tree stumps and trimming a very overgrown backyard. They were all very hard workers and the job was done in far less time than expected. My yard looks amazing and it was very reasonably priced.
